Buzz gets the Pete Gillen "Sweat" Award. I felt bad for Allison Williams, who had Buzz dripping all over her during the halftime interview.

They may have allocated minutes but it was Murdock Bragg and jucos/frosh playing in the old BE.. How can you forget big #55? Plus Forbes and Watts not living up to their high school expectations really hurt Barnes

The team had PG problems until Adbullah arrived. Any truth to the rumor that Barnes prioritized Alosa over Travis Best out of Springfield?

Dex, You seem to have missed my sarcasm. TheMick is missing the point of including Cotton. Including Cotton only shows that there is room for MAL to go on and potentially have the same type of all-time Friar greats career. No get back in the URIne cesspool for your silver sneakers class and don't forget to take your goggles off after class!! ....gotta love friartown... I watched some of UNC/VT last night. Two observations: Bede who was trying to sway Duke to come to VT, was another top New England PG last year. He is giving VT less production than MAL is giving us. Maybe New England PGs are slow to develop..................... Buzz gets the Pete Gillen "Sweat" Award. Buzz looked like a maniac last night!!

Nut - He really did!
My wife was commenting how drenched he was, and the fact that he was hyper in his coaching, while up 4 possessions with 30-seconds left in the game.

Shammgod Freshman season (BE): 30MPG, 10PPG, 6.5APG, 1.5SPG, 3 TO/G. Cotton Freshman:15 MPG, 4 PPG, 0.5 APG, 1.5 RPG. MAL: 16.4 MPG, 5 PPG, 2.3 APG, 2.0 RPG ....gotta love friartown... Cotton wasn’t ranked 38th in his class though ....

You could tell right away that Cotton could shoot as a freshman. If you can see glimpses of Cotton in MALs game, I need a little of what you are smoking.

was marvin good? watts? forbes?
Sure we were deep. Somebody had to play.
Alosn vs Best - I believe that's correct although some projected Alosa to be the better player. Alosa was featured on one of those hs phenom stories espn used to do....

Cotton lit it up from 3 at 25%. Not sure that translated to "you could see he could shoot right away". But like you said, agree to disagree.

The team that lost to Penn State in the NCAA in 2001 was pretty deep. At least the rotation was big. 10 guys averaged double figure minutes.
