FWIW, which isn't much, I have been saying since before the Xavier game that we needed 2 more W's. We got one yesterday and still need one more or a snub is in the works. This team had multiple chances to solidify a bid. There are no snubs this year. And they get destroyed on Thursday if they play like they have been down the stretch.

If my memory is correct, I think the last PC bubble team to be left out was the '96 team.
Michael Brown, Chroshere, Derrick Brown, Garces, Jamel Thomas and Shammgod, would run circles around this years Friars.

I agree. Totally ridiculous. What would you expect they are always stumping for their ACC buddies, heck they'd have the whole conference in the tourney.... I am in the wait until tourneys unfold camp....when your on the bubble much can happen going through the conference tourneys... Kinda like the hockey pairwise, every night your standing can change....only with bball it's your standing with the faceless committee pickers I sure hope Ed and his team are not breathing easier, they need to keep winning and playing a whole lot better especially on offense. I think it goes much higher than them. TV and box office would benefit from ND and Cuse being in. I think the announcers are "reminded" of this in pregame meetings.

Not only was that team snubbed yank but they were shown on national TV sitting there waiting...it was awful.

Right. I remember. I was a Junior at PC. Couldn't believe it. I just couldn't recall a PC team after that getting snubbed, so I wasn't sure if that was the last time it happened.

91 and 93 were pretty bad. All would be in the tourney today.

91 and 93 were pretty bad. All would be in the tourney today. Think we were relatively close in 96? Maybe a win away.

Name 36 teams that deserve it over PC. Tick Tock Tick Tock Actually, that's an incredibly easy question to answer. If our live RPI right now is 43, then I can name 42 teams that deserve it over PC.

Info: I am not sure if that is true. I was watching the very end of ND/Louisville Women's game and it said ND had an RPI of 1. I couldn't figure how undefeated UCONN could not be #1. I looked it up and sure enough, ND is 1 and UCONN is 2. In their only meeting this year, UCONN won. But strength of schedule must win out. So take RPI w a grain of salt. www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-women/d1/ncaa-womens-basketball-rpi

So take RPI w a grain of salt....we better hope not. That's our only decent metric.

Wrong answer think about it. I know you know what I mean, but of course you're cornered so naturally you're going to play dumb. Any relation to Nut?

So take RPI w a grain of salt....we better hope not. That's our only decent metric. Quad 1 wins are pretty good. “I’m not sure they have to win and there is no way to know that, but I still think their odds are better than 50/50 if they don’t. I just think their good wins and the number of them are better than the other teams at the end of the line,” said Lunardi of PC's wins over Villanova and Xavier.
