We have 4 games left with the 3 inferior teams in the league. Getting all 4 will guarantee us 7 league wins. That would leave us 9 games(4 of which are at home)to get 4 more wins and reach 11-7. Not losing to DePaul, SJU, Georgetown is going to be key in reaching the field of 68(hopefully 64).

we're stuck at 47 after last night and kenpom sits at 58. 11 plus 1 BET is the requirement. The bubble is going to be awful.
3-2 in our next 5 is almost mandatory...and would give us at least one quality roadie.

Makes the work a lot easier and will have our RPI around 30(safezone) Should have Maliek back for Marquette also friarbown which should help

3-2 is almost mandatory without a home W against nova or Butler roadie.

If you are comparing this year to last year, when the team was one of if not the last team to make the NCAA's - have to beat Butler today at home to at least "hold serve" to match what was done last year.
Spilt with Butler last year, and don't like our chances out there again this year. Already down the Marq, series, as PC swept them last year. Could make up ground with the St. John's & DePaul, as last year they were both a spilt, and have chance to sweep this year. For all the great buzz beating Xavier last week - they did beat them at home last year too. Creighton at home next weekend is big, as Friars beat them last year, etc
And of course, the non-conference record the year, will not match last years.

I sense that every game is going to feel like a "must win", until we find ourselves comfortably in range of hitting the 10-win (or greater?) mark.
Our next two games are big. As someone else posted, we're likely going to compete in a "mini-conference" or sorts, with the intention of being tagged as an upper echelon BE team by Selection Sunday. Our ranking in the Conference (and nationally), necessitates that we get the upper hand on Butler, Creighton (who beat us previously) and Marquette.
The way things look for me, we'll be competing with that group, for association with Nova, Xavier and Seton Hall. Being the next included in this mix of four would enhance our chances of securing a bid to the tournament.
So....:
1. Got to beat Butler at home today (and hope to tag them a second time on the road); 2. Got to even the score with Creighton on Saturday, in order to neutralize the loss out in Omaha. 3. Got to even the score with Marquette.
Outside of this "mini-conference" and as things stand today, we'll need to take advantage of our home stands, in order to pick up a quality win or two (Nova, Seton Hall), and hopefully run the table on teams that are currently ranked below us (St. Johns, Georgetown, DePaul)

Heck if we do all that '82 I suspect we will get a 3 seed LOL
...as for me, this ain't last year and winning at Hinkle and Bradley Ctr is a very tall order and won't happen IMO
We have some huge warts in the rebounding area that need to improve drastically
Also need White to come back and play well bec Drew and Makai have not got the job done....so depth is a huge problem as we heard when KC was exhausted and fought on

Coach and team need to take one game at a time

BC Joe pls don't flatter yourself...Walk meant Joe Lunardi of espn not a has-been predictor like you.
You need a vacation now that another annual pressing of the Soupy is in the cellar. You missed a good game today. I was able to cheer us to the finish line.
The biggest hand was for the great Brad Stevens and the PA clown blew the intro timing for Mr Holt who BTW looked great today
Was hoping to see where my pal Walk would give some kudos to Lindsey for his work today but alas it is not to be. He was terrific on a day where Isaia and Alpha were off for the most part. Also Kudos to KC who played a terrific game and the vast majority of it too.
