Played tough tonight. And Bullock played pretty well. No head-hanging tonight.
Rough loss but our Friars hung til the end. Would have been a nice Road win but ...
Proud of our big man tonight.
PIZZA, SODA, GRINDERS!!!

My complaint is with the missed bunnies. The team played hard, we lack talent compared with just about every team in the league. It is what it is. Talent wins games. When you lack talent you find yourselves 4-8 in the league.

He sure played hard...big man? Hope you don't mean cooley. He sucked. I have no problem with the way Cooley coached. When you miss layups and foul shots on the road in the Big East you lose. Thought he definitely had the guys ready to play tonight no problem with him at all.

Depressing. Should have won. Bad night from Cooley and should have won anyway. Missed lay ups killed us, and we lead the f'ng nation in missed front ends in pressure situations.
I had a feeling we were going to lose a total heart breaker when they started featuring that little kid on the bench for SHU. So typical.
Jackson needs to not play another minute. He single handedly killed our 2nd half run.

Our rotations suck...the cartwright play...and we rarely run stuff for scorers....bullock got the foul line jumper off the holt pass and they ran one play for lindsey...

So you like his rotations and the cartwright play that has not gotten a ball to the rim in three straight attempts....exact same play.

Lindsay was a monster on d and the boards.

I thought Lindsey and Holt really battled hard. What did Lindsey have, 12 boards against a very big and physical front line? Would have loved to have seen Holt play along side Batts or Carson, sliding Henton to the 3. Guy is undersized but leaves it all on the line. Even if Bentil had stayed, Holt would have been a problem down low for opposing 4's.

Cooley didn't lose this game. He could have coached better but he wasn't the one out there missing a dozen layups and the front end of one and ones. Bullock started slow and got going. We should have gone to him more. I still think we get killed on the boards because Holt gangs on the perimeter too much. Lindsey didn't shoot well but he found other ways to contribute. We lack a top of the line star.

Really Wish Holt would stop jacking 3's.

Right...I guess he's only averaging less than 2 attempts per game. The fact that he is 14-43, just magnifies the misses in my mind I guess.
