I say we turn Langford and/or White loose
Honestly....I think one has to start stepping up if we are to(not only get in) but win a game in the tourney
We need someone that can attack the rim

If the Friar's play as they did on Saturday, blowing chunks or not blowing chunks, SHU will have layup lines And will be playing H-O- R-S-E with the Friar's.
Butler Defense gave Jalen little room to operate Saturday . Think the Butler staff watched the SHU game tapes to see how to shut Jalen down?

Shut jalen down? His high average for a season is 10 ppg and he's the easiest guard in the BE.

Dad - check out Jalens #s against butler. I believe his career high is 9.
As for guarding him...he gets his points off kick outs when his man helps and trailing the break. Once he's been guarded, his inability to take a second dribble makes him easy to guard. You asked me to watch and I have been.

Is he a team leader?

I gues it depends on how you define leader. 34 min 1pt, 2 Rebs, 1 asst on the road with his pg is puking. Too many no shows for me. His per minute numbers are brutal. Averages 1/2 a rebound more than Cartwright in 4mpg more.

I am less concerned with calculations than his role as the team's leader THIS season.
I have given my thoughts about his limitations as a player though he has the most defined pipes on the team.

Which is where you and I differ. My "leaders" are willing to step up. Pretty much why I rarely get on KC. He's had some terrible moments this season but he'll always try yo make a play. Even if it's a shitty one.

KC always plays with an edge. Jalen plays with Clyde Fraiser cool confidence. Each display leadership. KC was ill at the SHU game and reports say he was ill Saturday. He has brass. Jalen too displays leadership and has the respect of his teammates.
I am certain he gives a flyin' sh!te what you or me think of his play or leadership.
He will be missed by me if not you.

Reeves will be a nice addition to the backcourt next year. Do you see Reeves as more of a 2 or a 3? I know in today's game the difference seems less and less. But,for example, I see Diallo as a 3 forced to play the 2. Excellent rebounder for a 3 but his ball-handling needs work for a 2. I know when Reeves signed, he was listed as a small forward.

Reeves appears to have superior shooting and adequate ball handling to play the 2. Huge ask to have a frosh carry our outside shooting.
