As we win and as we lose, as we jekyl, as we hyde, one thing has remained remarkably consistent...Scoring droughts. What gives? Scoring droughts are bound to happen in basketball, I get it. But we go through major ones every game. What can be done to address this? Is it coaching? If we can somehow find a way to limit our droughts, or run some set plays, we would be a much more dangerous team. One possibility I've thought of is when the drought inevitably rears it's head, that we call up a play where either Cartwright or Bullock just drives to the basket, all else be damned. Get aggressive and bring it to the paint. Like crashing the net in hockey, when your teams not scoring.

somebody needs to step up and score a bucket....normally that's a senior. Bentil had some of that in him. you look at this group and tell me who.

Again worst I've seen from a Friar team. Just amazing how often it has happened this year. No low post scoring option.... to stem the runs

Butler really packed it in and dared us to shoot 3’s. We don’t have many guys who can successfully beat their man off the bounce and when KC is a step slow, we really struggle creating good looks. There is only so much the coaches can do when we can’t stretch out the defense because they are conceding us three pointers. I would’ve actually liked to see more MAL in the second half, he was playing fine and is someone who can create a shot

I've stated I think we'll be good next year, but I do think we'll be missing Ryan fazekas. While there was no chance of it happening, I wish we could've gotten him to red shirt this year.

WE do not have any consistent shooters nor much of an inside presence.

WE do not have any consistent shooters nor much of an inside presence. Thus the droughts...17-10 ain't so bad, with what we have.

No Holt and last year was inflated due to opponents injuries. thewalk thinks Emmitt Holt is a Division 3 player, so that didn't affect the team.

At some point we fans and/or snowflakes have to accept defeat like a man just like our great coach did one week ago when DePaul smoked us.
Seniors here for 4 or 5 years should have been better which is usually the case if they work at it.
Soph s and Frosh, although projected to be better and contribute some, have not and it’s a little surprising.
Emmitt wasn’t supposed to get sick.
The ankle taper chit the bed.
Our medical staff chit the bed.
Cripes even Big Ed was under the weather today
It is said things even out over time so maybe the next two weeks will see some problems for our opponents.
If not then let’s accept our horrible fate like men and Wait Till Next Year

Lindsey was 0-7 but honestly I would've rather saw him go 0-2. Because not one of his looks was clean with his feet set. They were quick bad shots plus some were off balance.

No James worthy err Emmit holt....fine - return 4 of 5 starters, all rotation players except one, add two highly ranked players who play the same position - I'd expect not to get blown out by every quality team on the road.
