Let's hope Paschall needs more time to recover - he was Nova's Superman last time they crushed us down in Philly.
If he is out AND Lindsey is back then we have a chance unless the flu continues to bug us...

"So you're saying there's a chance?"
Ut Oh if this sentiment catches on King KORE, you could be setting up an entire fan base for despair and disappointment And it's on YOU.
A lot of the great Friar fans that reside in this bastion of mediocrity won't be able to handle the outcome. Me? I have through the years developed a sort of acrylic veneer that expects the worst and revels in success when it comes our way. The first thing I look at when entering the arena is our bench to see who is on crutches or in street-clothes or has a shoulder sling.
What an interesting collection of nomads we are here...refugees from message board wars long forgotten. The Yank has been on suicide watch for all but perhaps 2 weeks this season. Draif has become comfortable in his role as a practicing message board Medical Doctor with a diagnosis for every burp or sneeze. Walk has transformed himself from McNasty to McHomer in the course of two lousy weeks while the Man Of Suspect Info has finally given up on searching for "paths" to the Dance. Daddy-O has accepted the role of watch-dog insuring level playing fields at all of our venues. mikemc has even stopped trying to cast jocularity over our desperate situation with his usual failed attempts at humor. #neverthumper always the feisty munchkin accosts me at the bar Saturday to denounce my basketball credibility because of my Pick'em choices. Then there's the newbie NUT who veterans are trying to asses to see what makes him tick. Then we have the sage Friar82, a wannabe male nurse practitioner, who most recently volunteered some concussion protocol information to Draif to assist in assessing Jalen's problem. Yes indeed, quite an array of specimens we are here at FTH.
So I am starting to think that the worst defeat of The Cooley Era is followed by an upset win over Nova and another upset win over Butler at Hinkle Saturday. We will follow those wins up by laying some hurt on the Pirates at The Dunk. So there's TEN wins boys and the 11th will be cake.

Which two weeks? The 3 game home sweep? As of this morning, like INFO, I see no path forward to dance. Maybe that swings with an upset against Nova, but I don't see it. I hope that Walk is correct on his assessment of next years team.

"Which two weeks? The 3 game home sweep?"
Yes indeed Yank "One Shining Moment" before then being body slammed to the mat largely by our senior class

"Which two weeks? The 3 game home sweep?" Yes indeed Yank "One Shining Moment" before then being body slammed to the mat largely by our senior class The Seniors have been disappointing, no doubt. But all this depth I heard about from April 2017 until Nov. 2017 deserves equal blame in my mind. I would love to see Jackson's stats when he has been forced into a starters roll due to the injury/illness of the day. With the exception of the 1st Marquette game, I don't think they are good.

Regarding depth: 1) Holt out for season 2) People assumed a Top 40 player would be able contribute for 15 MPG (or, at the very least, manage PG for 7 MPG). 3) People assumed Edwards would be a solid contributor because he made a pass against USC and went off against Bryant

He was defiant in claiming that folks were undervaluing what the returning Core (this year's seniors) would bring to the table. Due to a number of circumstances, last year's Team did surpass the expectations of most, in returning to the NCAAs. I, in part, attributed some of that success to the notion that the Core group had what it took to lead/carry the team into the post season. Extending that perception into this season, I felt that we were covered in the "leadership" department, with everyone returning. The incoming frosh would have the opportunity to grow into their roles, while learning from our leaders. Looking back, I sense that I overvalued the "leadership quotient" on this team. Visual observations (i.e.: body language in response to an on the court breakdown) and metrics (i.e.: Stat Lines from our losses) speak loudly in support of this failed premise.

Wonder who we wouldn't have signed if Bentil and Chukwu were still here. Did Holt sign before or after Bentil declared?
