Nova is going to be ridiculous again next year... But they will miss Brunson and Bridges, more than likely. Some on the ML think Booth may move on also—-not to the NBA.

you think Brunson's gone? I believe he's projected mid second.

It will be interesting to see what Brunson does. Might he have reached his ceiling as a projected 2nd rounder? If not, then I'd return for one more year.
And assuming he were to jump, Dante and Quinerly (sp?) appear to be the likely successors.
Jay's done a great job with the succession planning that's required to "reload" on a continual basis. He seems to always have a capable understudy to his starting point guards. Sometimes, these players red-shirt while they develop their games to the point where they're ready to produce in a backup role. By the time some of these kids graduate, I'd swear their 31 years old.

It's the only way to do it, unless you are the Dukes and can re-load with the top incoming Frosh year in and year out. PC should be following the same model, but I think it would cost us a year or 2 on the outside of the NCAA/NIT, by having kids red-shirt. But, long term would be beneficial. ....gotta love friartown...

Jay is terrific and stupendous based on what he has accomplished...and it takes a little luck too
He's had some pretty damn good players fall into his lap that were pledged elsewhere but decomitted for various reasons:
Scottie Reynolds Jalen Brunson
and now Quinerly

where did Brunson initially commit? Illinois?
some nova's were unintentional. It's also an easier sell when you're winning and the roster is stocked. I could definitely see Nichols or Monroe sitting a year.

Temple I believe where his Father was working if I am not mistaken Temple is correct. His dad (Rick) played in the NBA for years played at Temple and was ready to work as an assistant under Dunphy (and bring Jalen with him) until Daddy had some off court issues . Google Rick Brunson if you want more details.

Brunson is gone after this year. He is on track to graduate in the Spring and has definitely reached his ceiling in terms of being an NBA prospect. Yes he won't be a first rounder, but he will more than likely be picked in the second round. Bridges has played himself into the lottery with his improved play, so he will almost assuredly jump as well.
Brunson's dad Rick played in the NBA and went to Temple. He was going to be hired as an assistant at Temple, with the wink wink agreement being Jalen would follow him there. However, Rick was never hired because shortly after those rumors surfaced, he was arrested on charges suspected of sexual assault. Jalen then unofficially re-opened his commitment and quickly narrowed it down to Illinois and Villanova before obviously going to Philly.
