Quadre Smith... 20 rebounds in 96 minutes back in '15-'16. Just saying...and back then he couldn't jump over a phone book.

Quadre ain't walking through that door...even in a jersey two sizes too small. Making that kid wear that jersey was a disgrace btw.

In my later years I love to poke fun at Homers and I plead guilty to being one more often than not.
I have been dishing out the criticism of our guys pretty good lately, however here's how I place blame right now among the younger players:
MAL 0%
NATE 0%
Kalif 35%
I could write a laundry list of frosh duds who turned out great but the folks here are astute fans in the main and they know the history.
I urge the most vociferous critics to consider refraining from over-the-top trashing of the frosh....you know who you are .
Be a man and take this season of dis-content with the same grace that Walk has voiced..."Cooley gets a Mulligan".
Frosh will be Sophs and our Soph BIG will hopefully learn this year and be a productive Junior.
Thank you and now we will resume normal programming

You damn right we could. He had decent footwork and always played hard.

Maybe he could have become the next Bonzie Colson who is now injured?
We will never know but based on his progress now we do know he was coachable.
There's a lesson here on why not to judge a book by it's cover.
same goes for Kiwi who pcjohnny and I saw at Alumni Hall and thought was the next Ernie.
Big And Tall stores have value, but so too does Short and Fat kids who have no store.

Agreed Dex. He was very coachable. He didn't play much but he found a way to contribute in some way whether it was grabbing a rebound, allowing Ben to rest or getting a quick bucket. He would have been useful off of the bench. Especially now.
