Are we under estimating the impact of Sham moving on? He's simply not very good. It's why he played 7 minutes vs. SJU. I hold out hope because Dunn was a bit of a train wreck as freshman too. Shammgod, DMac and Council were more BE ready. Sham was a huge loss.

Shamm was a big loss, but Dunn took a while to get going and was still a turnover machine when he left.

Yankee...are you related to Jax? His mandatory forced bounce pass turnover is automatic.
MAL - Dunn didn't struggle like this. He clearly needs to get stronger up top and improve his shot. He also doesn't appear to be a very good passer. I thought he'd be better but he's well down on my list of issues. I think he'll be fine. He's comparable to mintz actually.
Sham - I thought the hype was the most overblown bs but I think there's an impact. He was always around and I'm guessing someone the players liked working out with. He could lean on them without really being on staff.
Didn't expect to win this game after our W and their L....just sucks our seniors do this crap again.

Creighton is a good team. Much better than St. John’s.

Amazing how many times per game our centers completely lose their man.

I think this is what we are going to see all year. We are 3/23 from 3. If we shoot 13/23 we are up. Live by the 3 die by the 3.

Walk... I don't think I have commented on Jackson recently, positively or negatively, but his game has largely sucked this year. His game is too methodical and slow. He's right there with Young and MAL. If he moves on next year for his 5th year, I won't care.

MAL is a typical UCONN recruit. Just not as good as Adams and company. Seniors and bench inconsistency is going to lead us to the NIT.
Sham is a huge loss.
....gotta love friartown...

We have plenty of guys who can do what Jax does....need size and need a pg with no KC....won't understand in 1 million years what this staff saw in Jax and JR. I know both were hurt as frosh but there was some college pt to evalaute.

Our upperclassman once again look very casual out there. Neither Jalen or Rodney have a sense of urgency to them. Together, with Kyron, the seniors combined for 8 of 24 from the field. Throw in Alpha shooting 4 of 13, and our offensive efficiency wasn't there. Very disappointing.
Seems that Creighton's game plan was focused on containing us from the outside, at the expense of letting Nate hit a career high in the paint.
Really concerned with our team's inability to compete, when Kyron's not playing at full strength

Haven't the last two uconn pg recruits led them to national titles?
