The staff may have been caught off guard although I doubt it...it has nothing to do with senior night...
Conn - are you saying he was on schedule to graduate entering the current semester?

Rodney Bullock says he's 'exploring the process' w @nba hoping to get invite to Combine. Not ruling out return to @pcfriarsmbb

I assume he's at the banquet... Think I saw him in a group pic from banquet. But I also definitely saw Fazekas in pic.

Good plan. I think we AND he fully expect him to be back. But,nothing wrong with exploring the process, see how he stacks up vs. others and listen to the input as to what needs to improve. Solid thinking IMHO.

I don't equate "not ruling out return" to fully expecting to be back.
Wouldn't shock me to see him get sucked into the hype of the process and end up in Europe next year.

reads as if he'd be surprised as anyone if he was told to stay in the draft. unfortunately just takes one to get in his ear. could also see him catching wind of some euro dollars and bolting. taking hoops out of it, really would be disappointing for him to not get his degree out of this.

I would guess he must be pretty close though on a degree since he has gone 4 years. Maybe one semester away.

Agree, he's not close to 2nd round material. But he can make money overseas. Will be interesting to see what he wants to do.

FWIW: According to the following article, some do well but it sounds like some of the money has dried up proskillsbasketball.com/how-to-play-overseas-basketball/A lot of guys have a misconception about playing basketball abroad. They hear of guys getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars and buying an Escalade and they think that’s what overseas basketball is. The truth is, overseas basketball, more often than not, consists of crappy apartments, no washer and dryer, small towns, 10-hour bus rides and playing in front of less than 500 fans. All of that for maybe $2000 per month. Things have changed significantly since 2008 and foreign basketball clubs, largely relying on sponsorship money, have much less money than they did before.
