Providence vs Nova in the 7pm session and Georgetown vs X in the 9:30pm session. Not a bad semi at all. This is going to be fun.

Villanova in a blow out. Kind of anticlimactic after yesterday (and compared to last year). I think we would have won if yesterday went into OT and I think we would have beaten X tonight. The league wanted Nova and Georgetown I think and wanted Nova to win. They got Nova. Nova will get their #1 seed.

PC has won BET in 1994 and 2014. NOVA has win it in 1995 and 2015. Hope neither has to wait 20 years for the next one. PC gave the Wildcats all they could handle last night.Nova has been killing people otherwise.Got to mean something for the Sunday Selection.

I hope we somehow get a 5. Two of the fives play in a region that I live in so I would love to be able to see them this year.

Val sat down with officials before the pc game?..., or did fox do it? ...of did they "just know" to maybe get a bonus...how does this go down in your fantasy world?

You're the one imagining black helicopters walk. I didn't say the league fixed it, I said they "wanted" Nova. For obvious reasons too. Outside of us winning I wanted Nova too. It's good for the league. The best possible rating would have been nova vs Georgetown. They got half the desired equation. Not by rigging anything just the way it played out.
Saying what they wanted is a lot different than saying there was a conspiracy. You've made that up to setup a strawman. But in terms of getting the benefit of the doubt there's no question Nova's laundry gets them calls we don't get...Henton or Dunn doesn't get that whistle at the end that arci got.

Fix Schmix whatever...it played out as the best for the Big East with NOVA as Guidon Bearer. Xavier ran out of gas, maybe a step slow after there late game the night before - hope they do get a (decent) bid today as they have earned it. So be it as our loss to Nova really only hurt as a loss and a lost opportunity - another way to look at it is IF we had gotten the job done vs. Butler then we probably had a much better chance to play our game vs. Nova in the Championship - time to move past the coulda shoulda woulda crap IMO... The BET did NOT hurt our seeding - in fact do think our loss might have even helped; guess we see today. Overall let's keep in mind last year we would NOT have been "IN" without that BET Championship even as most thought we were solid. Will be interesting to see just how well the Bog East does today understanding the A10, AAC and others are down this year. So watching tonight to see of the Big East actually does get all 6 teams in, as most think: Nova, Butler, Georgetown, PC, Xavier, SJU. * NOVA is impressive as a team that goes deep yet the reliance on the outside shooting and their lack of size makes them vulnerable in the Tourney so the #1 seed should help them advance at least to the Sweet 16. Archie is a solid player that any team would welcome but based on his overall game, he is no Kris Dunn, and that should be obvious to even casual observers. * Very happy to see former PC assistant Larry Shyatt, (6 years here), has led the Wyoming Cowboys to the dance. He is one of the good guys with many years in the trenches: LARRY SHYATT

before we move on entirely, Fox showed this in parts but I missed some of it. Some great locker room footage here
