Good crowd: 15,197 at this afternoon's sessions.
Hopefully we get some closer games they've all been mostly 1 sided thus far.

I have a lot of respect for Greg McDermott and his Creighton Bluejays - no quit in those kids - none.

Finally a good competitive game. Meanwhile, the AAC tourney is rocking in lovely Hartford. I heard the local cracker barrel is doing a 2 for 1 special on country fried steak if you show your ticket stub.

Thank God we bolted - they wanted their football and this is what they have now in the AAC....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
What genius figured they would draw even flies in Hartford?
They should be having this little party down in Memphis or some other 'safe' place but no, they chose Hartford?

They're still waiting for their invite to a power football league, lol.

This Butler X game is the game of the day in terms of competitiveness. It's a war out there.

Don't think UCONN is the main point here walk - at least not for me - what they have done is amazing no doubt - hey good for them but...they have serious issues going forward and they are their issues not ours - beyond finding a better conference in which to play, the Calhoun era has ended and despite Ollie's immediate success their long term viability is in jeopardy.
No, the larger point is the focus on fragile PC and how we escaped this going nowhere hybrid conference and the contrast between the thriving BET at MSG and the decision by the AAC to hold their tourney in Hartford - HARTFORD?
Just two seasons in and the 'new' Big East has become relevant - sure it will take more time but come on, what has already been accomplished has been remarkable. Meanwhile at the same time the conference the so called 'Catholics' bolted, the AAC, is floundering into irrelevance big time.
