Thank you for pointing out the error of my reading of his statement. Your statement of Duke, Cuse, UNC as marquee names greater than the new Big East members is of course valid. You made no error, you know how to read. The same cannot be said for he who slithers out from under his rock. I could not have been any clearer: we have bigger marquee names than than the A-10 but we should cherry pick a St Louis or one of their better teams, because the difference is not that big and this year proves it. I made no comparison to the ACC which obviously has bigger names and will only get stronger with Louisville.

We really need to cherry pick a team or two from the A-10 lest we battle with them for supremacy going forward. I still believe we have stronger marquee names but letting them get a stronger foothold won't help us. You believe the New Big East has stronger marquee names than the ACC? Duke, UNC, and Cuse it doesn't get bigger than that. Never said anything of the sort. As they say reading is FUNdaMENTAL. Big game for you tonight eh? UNRANKED UK taking on LSU. You must be excited.

Yes they've proven me wrong. It's still laughable to consider them among the greatest UK teams of all time, but they've proven a lot of people wrong in this tournament. They were an 8 seed going in for a reason but now they're playing like a 1 seed. That said the tat will still be a major eff up if Uconn plays like we've seen.
So how do your rank your fandom: UK, UCONN and PC? You seem to be a diehard for all 3....Got any Friars tats yet?

ACC Blowhard Jay Bilas is at it again going right for the throat, wants to upgrade from Denny's to Brooklyn to Manhattan. www.providencejournal.com/sports/20170306/espns-jay-bilas-says-acc-should-have-its-eyes-set-on-madison-square-gardenAll the more reason why the BE conference needs to do whatever it can to pack the garden. Even though it will continue to be one of the better draws among the power conference tournaments, it will not and cannot compete 100 % attendance and revenue wise with the large state schools of the ACC. They have more teams and bigger brands, there is no denying that. They will bring more people. That said we need to bolster our presence and extend our lease with MSG when possible. My guess is all that will be tied in with Fox Sports and the next TV contract. UCONN could be an important piece if that is necessary. Otherwise, it is difficult to see how we continue the next contract with current ratings, attendance and school size. It's a challenge for the BE leaders.
