Let it never be said that you need a house to fall on you walk. I agree with Cooley and walk on this one...he can still be a good contributor in the future. However if he would like to play 30+ minutes it probably isn't happening at PC.

College hoops is an 8 man game unless you're a pressing team and shooting the ball has been an issue for us in the past. I'd be surprised if he wasn't getting 20+ mpg as a 4th yr jr and 5th yr sr. I'm guessing this is a done deal by some posts in the thread. Seriously?? Wth has he shown other than the ability to hit the occasional 3??? BE he is a 3-5 mpg player. If he wants to do that then I'm board. If he doesn't and wants to move on , I'm on board with that. I was expecting crochere. Not even close.

Your expectation for a recruit not in the Top 100 was to become a lottery pick?

Clarifying statement: Crochere type game and improvement.. Not stat wise. Now we know why he was not in the Top 100 and he jumped on PC's offer so early.
Hope he proves me wrong, but I don't see much value in him staying.. We complain about not having enough talent and yet people here are wanting Zeke to stay.
....gotta love friartown...

Clari We complain about not having enough talent and yet people here are wanting Zeke to stay. ....gotta love friartown... We need talent but I think people also realize 13 guys on the roster won’t be getting minutes. If someone needs to leave this year to make room for another recruit, there is one most obvious candidate. After that, we have Bullock, Cartwright, Lindsey and Holt all leaving the same year. 4 recruits in one year is plenty. I’m all for more talent, but I’d think if we are lucky we land one more impact guy for next season. The following year we have 4 open ‘ships, which is a perfect number for a class. If Zeke is happy being at PC just outside the rotation I can think of worse people to have on the bench (and there will always be people on the bench). AC was simply a bigger, more powerful guy. Even when he was a skinny, out of shape freshman you could see the broad shoulders. But to be honest, I didn’t see a ton of potential in freshman AC.

Well said Draif. You also need good practice players on the roster which mike fails to mention.
I think Zeke will go to get PT and maybe a tad closer to home. I can't blame him if he does.
