Think he's healthy. Doesn't miss pre-game.
But considering our foul-shooting and trying to inbounds the ball against the St. John's press in the last 7 minutes, the fact that Ed didn't put in a 71% foul-shooter speaks volumes.
This is all presuming he is healthy, I think he's gone.
Thoughts?

Too slow, not in any kind of rhythm. Time for him to move on. I'm sure he is a good kid. With jacksons emergence no room at the inn for Zeke.
....gotta love friartown...

I foresee Zeke being at a nice Midwestern midmajor next Fall, where he will have a nice career as a three point specialist after his sit out season.

I think we have two roster openings after the season and he may be one...the team needs a consistent shooter...

He could score 30 ppg playing Keno-ball...

I hope he redshirts and stays... I agree. After next year, Lindsey, Bullock, Holt, and Cartwright are gone. I could see Fazekas being a solid part of the rotation as a sharpshooter. He'd potentially be in position to have a very impactful Senior season when Jackson graduates the following year. White/Duke Edwards/Duke Alpha/Jackson/Fazekas Jackson/Dickens Young/Watson *Yes, the Duke inclusion is positive thinking.

I hope he redshirts and stays... This. Gets separation from Bullock/JL/Cartwright/Holy class, let's him developed a more versatile game and lets him spend some time in the weight room so he can guard 4s instead of 3s. He can either sit out a year somewhere else or sit out a year here. Hope he does it here.

Dickens is not a 4. Alpha is a 2.
And it's tough to claim that lineup because you'd have 4 more scholarship players besides Duke. Maybe one of those comes in next year.
Love you stepping out on a limb but its way too early to name lineups/backups 2 years ahead.

Expect a post of vehement from walk any second now. He's never elaborated, but I think it has to do with a total lack of 3-pt shot.

I hope he stays as well...why go sit out at a mid major next year when he can either play for a top 25 team if he imporves at all or red shirt and have a legit role as a red shirt jr.

We need to stop wishing that reasonably talented underclassmen leave just because they are not currently contributing. Now, I'm not talking about the Chambers and Smith's of the world - last minute Hail Mary recruits - I'm talking about early signees, kids with some useful skill. Zeek as a junior or senior might give you some decent, important minutes. Every time we "runoff" a sophomore who looks like they can't play we increase the risk of perpetually playing our seasons without seniors. Keep him around. Just my 2 cents worth.

If underclassmen are being groomed as future starters, then Ryan has a problem in that Jackson is also a Soph and is substantially ahead of the curve on him.
