1. Are we in right now no matter what? No, but a heavy lean. Win one at BET and then its positive.
2. Who is our regular season MVP? Cartwright.
3. Who is our breakthrough player of the season? Jackson.
4. Did the season exceed your expectations? By a mile. Maybe ten.
5. Cooley's finest coaching job at PC? Yes. Considering he had no NBA draft candidates on the roster.

1. Are we in right now no matter what?
Yes, though I'd love to see the Friars grab at least 1 BET win. I think it'd give us a little more momentum, buzz heading into the NCAA's.
2. Who is our regular season MVP?
Has to be Cartwright, with Holt and Lindsey comfortably in the 2 and 3 spots. I think these 3 are the Friars' most indispensable players, with KC clearly being the most invaluable of all.
3. Who is our breakthrough player of the season?
Isaiah Jackson. If he continues to play at this rate, he could be the X-factor that leads to a surprising NCAA run (2 wins?), given the match-ups.
4. Did the season exceed your expectations?
This one's hard to answer. I didn't know what to expect, but following PC's non-conference schedule (at least leading up to the BC game), I suddenly got my hopes up for the NCAA's. Then the 1st half of the BE schedule happened. It's been a roller coaster year for me as a fan.
5. Cooley's finest coaching job at PC?
It's close, but I say ... no. This is a sneaky group of talented kids, especially with Jackson's emergence. I think it's the '13-14 season, which included winning the BET. Consider this: In the BET final vs Creighton, Cooley played 6 players -- Cotton, Fortune, Henton, Harris, Batts, and Desrosiers. Carson and Harris were such flawed players, and Fortune was a sophomore with a limited offensive game. I think this year's team is more talented.

#1. In? That what's being said. It's pretty much down to a science now, isn't it?
2. Who is our regular season MVP? Cartwright
#3.New player of the season?
Isaiah. He is no longer a somnambulist.
4. Did the season exceed your expectations?
I'm on record in some thread. I'm positive I wrote ".500" in BE was possible. But I really didn't believe it because I thought they'd be a injury here/there.
5. Cooley's finest coaching job at PC?
He seems to have a good group. They seem to not be pains in Ed's behind. So results are there and you have to say yes but they probably were easier to drag to this point. Very good job. Teams that are not a plus in any area (shooting, size, quickness, stregth, rebounding, passing...) should not be able to go 10-8 in BE. It has to be Ed and some luck.
