Best sight lines to watching the game are in 232. I can referee and coach from in 232. ....gotta love friartown... I would agree with that. We had 4 seats in 230 for 20+ years and loved the view. Very blue collar in those days.

Young played his best game as a Friar. 6 points and 11 boards (many in traffic) in 13 minutes.
I'll give him a pass on the two brutal free throw attempts..

I just finished watching the game, and am probably mimicking what others have already stated. Having said that:
- Really strong defense. Repeated mention of how long we are out on the wings, making it difficult for SJU. We seem to draw a couple charges each game, which are a sign of a tough, dialed in defense - We really pounded it down in the paint (as opposed to pounding the basketball and jacking up late 3s)- great call by the coaching staff, with SJUs bigs in foul trouble early - Great job finding the open teammate and distributing the ball in the first half. This was a true, team effort with balanced scoring - we are so much harder to defend, when everyone is producing on the offensive end. Hopefully, Rodney is recognizing this, as the confidence of his teammates is soaring right now - got to keep the mojo flowing, by keeping everyone involved - More players contributing quality minutes than I've seen this year... Jackson's a ton more aggressive than a month ago; Diallo is so smooth and more efficient that he was back in January (he's going to be a star); Young grabbing a ton of rebounds (but he has to stop his tendency to lower and cradle the ball with a single hand once he's gained possession, as its going to be stripped away at some point by opponents) and playing sound enough ball for Rodney and Holt to sit through foul trouble - Jalen's first half was really impressive - silent assassin who seems to play his best ball at MSG - I've begun to take Kyron's assists and "after burners" for granted. So happy that we have him for another season. He's our leader, and sets the tough, mentality that Ed Cooley teams tend to have - Jackson...Wow! Keep it up young man! Great to have another steady ball handler, who has the poise and presence to do the right things when pressured - We are peaking at the right time, but there's still a lot that we need to "clean up", in order to take our game to the next level, including our ability to go strong and finish at the rim (too many missed bunnies), and of course, our free throw shooting! I expect both to be areas of focus in the off season - But hey, we're the #3 Seed heading into the BE Tournament. I still want to force "The Committee's hand (if only with Seeding), but winning at least One game in the BE Tournament. I happen to like our side of the BE Tournament bracket, so let's keep this roll going! - How "Cooleyesque" that this team has the grit to dig itself out of the hole it was in back in late January! - Great promo by the commentators: This will be the 5th time in the last 6 seasons, that a Providence Point Guard has led the BigEast in Assists per Game..."who wouldn't want to play point guard for Me" (Ed Cooley)...he empowers his point guards...gives them the ball...gives them the power to create

Sight lines my arse...yeah if you like watching Biddy Basketball Judging from your assessment of Jackson, you might want to strongly consider a new set of sight lines for the Dunk!! Lower bowl in the last row up in the corner is further away from the court than 232.. ....gotta love friartown...

Go if you must mr. dex just remember to bring your meds. Not true what you are spouting here about my take on players at all...OK? Yes, Cartwright I liked, now I like Young. Even like knuckleballer Uncle Albert, not as a shooter but as the glue guy, and looking back, the list goes on and on...but even you recently admitted if this team had another wtm fav, Kadeem Batts, in the mix, they would be contendas - yet, truth be told, what they have done with what they have on hand is amazing, right?

Right wtm.
However you and the Glue designation is hurting my hair.
Now if you said that the emergence of Isaia Action Jackson is the GLUE GUY on this team, I would listen.
I won't deny that you never wavered on KC and that is to your credit.
While you are tossing bouquets around like Tiny Tim Tiptoeing Through The Tulips don't forget to save one for the acknowledged leader on our team...yep none other than Jalen Lindsey...our Coach On The Floor and mentor to all underclassmen.
If he doesn't make All defensive Team it's a shame.
BTW the dastardly unethical behavior and twisted understanding of VERITAS of #neverthumper on Pickem has dis-qualified him from seat re-location near him. Accordingly, he will sit alone again next year after hawking tickets in the lobby.
You know KORE Mod ...it ain't easy sitting next to friarman and having him yell in my good ear all game. I might go sit with the Twins unless Kfar needs me.
