Not a bad start. Lots of early whistles on both ends. Gonna come down to focus and execution today.

Good defense to start. Free throws can hurt down the stretch, need to prevent Ponds and Lovett from shooting outside.

Bad body language and street ball moments so far for SJU. We've mostly taken advantage. Need to hit free throws and limit our own mistakes,

Very good half. We could/should be up 20 if we hit free throws and made one or two less mistakes. SJU 4-21 from FG probably happy to be only down 12.
Key opening minutes of half two, we need to step in their throats and put them down.
Great to hear Friar fans in the building chanting.

Just got to my gate at the airport, and attempted to bring the game up on Foxgo (which I've used before), but am having difficulty getting the feed today...
Looking at the box score, it appears that the Referees are a real factor in this game. I'm concerned that Mullin will have his two guards drive into the paint the entire second half, looking to neutralize our interior defense.
For those watching this game, are we able to stay in front of Ponds and the other kid?

Defense has been really solid forcing SJU into forced late in shot clock shots. Collapsing in the paint. Zones length has been a problem for SJU. ....gotta love friartown...

The zone defense has truly forced the Johnnies out of the lane and has caused many last second heaves. Good balanced offensive arrack for PC.Scoring inside. Loving Young with ten boards at the half. Free throws still a concern. Friars clearly the much better team.Just have to play like they can last twenty minutes.

Credit to our defense but SJU has also gotten some great looks from three and can't hit on anything. We need to refocus big time, tons of sloppy mistakes keeping them right in this,

Free throws !!!!
Ugly ball is fine, and favors our tough Friars. But,must take advantage of charity stripe opportunities.
Do like the balanced scoring, mainly in the lane.

How does this team shoot over 90% one game from FT line and barely 50% in most other games
