Need a home and home to fill out the schedule. Maybe start on the road, mid November before Atlantis. Then the rest of the schedule can be buy games

I wonder if we will have Hoppy in November or even in December? From Feb 17 ProJo article: “I believe that [doctors] said my process will be about six-to-eight months when I'll be fully back,” Hopkins said. “And it’s great that it's happening during the offseason, to have that time to regroup my body as well and let me get back on the court.” Providence, which hosts DePaul on Saturday night, has welcomed Hopkins’ return to Providence after a successful surgery in Chicago in mid-January. Plus I recall KE say a few weeks ago that BH would be cleared to begin running in a couple weeks. Taken together, eight months from mid-January brings us to mid-Sept. Then two months to get in basketball shape brings us to mid-November as a conservative estimate. I'm optimistic he'll be ready to go for the season opener, especially since Friars are so deep they can really limit his minutes.

Match the Catholics up in 1st round. What a coup. Brilliant. Anyone know how they determine the matchups? Being greedy would be excited to play any of them but Davidson. That said we're lucky to be there so whoever they give us (likely Davidson knowing how these things tend to play out) I'll take it over the other one we were in.

The event organizers ask media members to rank the teams. Then the organizers make the first round matchups based on TV appeal (making two big brands play in 1st round) or by traditional seeding (1v8, 4v5 etc)

I'll assume Davidson is the only team that isn't strong.

Indiana has size and a lot of new players...I'm not a huge fan of the head coach. That said, they will likely be a pre-season top-15 team.

So we still have five games left to schedule. I’m guessing four home buy games and one more tough game. Will be interesting to see where the aforementioned tough game takes place. Maybe another neutral site game? 11/4 - vs. Central Connecticut 11/27 - Battle 4 Atlantis 11/28 - Battle 4 Atlantis 11/29 - Battle 4 Atlantis 12/3 - vs. BYU 12/7 - @ Rhode Island I believe one of the concessions PC made to opt out of the tournament at Mohegan Sun was a commitment to play a game or more at Mohegan Sun in the future. I am not sure many teams would consider Mohegan Sun a neutral site it might be more appealing than the AMP.

As I recall, we were scheduled to host Holy Cross on November 29. That plan has changed given our participation in the Battle 4 Atlantis. My guess is that we'll be seeing the Holy Cross game pop up on another date at some point.

I wonder who our opponent will be. I’m guessing Boston College since they also dropped out of the original field. We’ll see.
