We'd be in tough shape without the Atlantis games... Schedule is solid overall, but having our biggest resume games back to back to back in Atlantis is tough

I can't get over the delusion of the fanbase on other platforms. The formula hasn't changed- every high major packs their schedule with home cupcakes they pay for. This has been the way since at least the 80s. Not sure why people think we're different.
This is actually a tough schedule IMO and a big upgrade from last year. We are getting 3 big names in Atlantis on neutral. BYU from the big 12, road game at URI. And neutral vs Bonnies....that's 6 high majors and 5 cakes. Not loving how it lines up with all the cakes first then finish with 6 tougher games (only 1 at home). Imagine if we open the BE on the road? Could have a stretch of 8 games with only 1 at the AMP.
Also a reminder. BE - B10 expired and BE - B12 expires (after this yr?) With no replacement announced.....those complaining gonna be even more upset going fwd when we lose 2 high majors from OOC. Not saying its impossible (and I hope they're working on something) but not many high majors want to visit the AMP in OOC.....

playing more than 2 games outside the top 300 is meaningless. really Q4s are meaningless. everyone thinks the formula is to blast q4s. it isn't

I’m guessing Louisville in Round 1. Would be fine with anyone except Davidson

Massively important to win that first game. If Indiana, Gonzaga and Arizona also win (all will be solid favorites), that would guarantee us 2 high quality games and whatever becomes of OU. Lose that first one and we could end up with 3 ordinary at best games. Our SOS will be heavily dependent upon us winning that game, so needless to say it is our most important non con game.
