Central has improved greatly in the NEC...think they finished as regular season champs in 23-24

A poster on the other board heard we are hosting Holy Cross on November 29th. That makes sense based on the comments we heard last year after we hosted a game on Black Friday. These dates are not official yet but it looks like this is what we have so far. Assuming the Mohegan Sun tournament is the week before Thanksgiving like usual and assuming we play URI the first Saturday in December. 11/4 Central Connecticut 11/23 Massachusetts (Mohegan Sun) 11/24 Boston College/Temple (Mohegan Sun) 11/29 Holy Cross 12/7 at Rhode Island So that's about 40% of the non league schedule complete, not good.

Awesome, nice to have a different opponent and a home game. Should be fun.

Aren’t byu’s best players following the coach to Kentucky ?

obviously still time but byu basically doesn't have a roster right now. should still be a decent win over a team that won't have a horrendous net but we need to figure this scheduling thing out as our ooc was a killer last year.

Pretty meh so far.
Absolutely love the new black Friday home game tradition they're trying to get going. Perfect gane to bring my young kids to and they had a decent crowd (attendance wise) last year although the game and crowd was a bit of a snooze).
Curious what people expect in terms of scheduling big names going forward? NO ONE wants to come here. We're lucky to have the Big 10 and Big 12 challenges but they are expiring in a season or 2 and not renewing! Credit to Val for getting these but it's not clear what will replace them if anything. As of now nothing had been announced and this, along with buttoning down a new long term TV contract are major priorities/concerns.
If those "battle challenges" go away without being replaced vs high major conferences, our OOC is going to get WORSE......we can do the 1 early season tourney which gets us usually 2 neutrals vs high major...what else? Can NAP and Kim negotiate some home and home alternates with names? How did UCONN get into that second multi team event in MSG? Invited somehow? That got them 2 or 3 mo4e high major neutrals.........Thoughts on what what can realistically done?

We don’t need a home and home versus Kentucky or Duke. It should be reasonable to get one with the Pitt, Clemson, Iowa, Nebraska’s of the world. Get one or two of those type of games, or one home and home and one neutral and the schedule will be fine

A poster on the other board heard we are hosting Holy Cross on November 29th. Dave Paulsen, HC at Holy Cross, was replaced by KE at George Mason.

Add in a late addition to play in The Battle for Atlantis during Thanksgiving.
Huge bump in our OOC schedule!

And it's reportedly not costing us a buyout...rather, PC has agreed to play future games at Mohegan Sun.
