Bummer. Hope you can make another road game this season. It just dawned on me that somehow I've NEVER seen the Friars at a true road game. I think next season that needs to change. St Johns, UConn and URI are a must for me. With Butler as a wishlist to see Hinkle. I've only seen them play three times on neutral courts (Brooklyn and MSG for 2 BETs). Would like to add an NCAAT game and also Mohegan to my list as well - are we going their next season for OOC tourney?

Providence vs. UMass and Boston College vs. Temple in the first round. Fun place to go. I recommend it.

Not sure where you live but for me it is a 20-minute drive on the highway then a 40-minute drive on a country backroad in the middle of nowhere. If you need hotel accommodations, not sure where you would stay. Limited entry and exit roads in and out of the arena. If you want a beer, water, snacks, plan on being in line for 20-30 minutes. Plastic seats. Virtually no concourse area. When you walk in thru the doors, there is a small beer/snacks area, take 15 steps in and you are in the arena.
My UCONN co=workers asked me how I enjoyed my game experience; they didn't like it when I said it was ok for a rinky dink arena.
Since they consider themselves the bball capitol of the world, their arena is not even mid-major level.

Yes from your and another recent description I can picture the "4 corner beer/bathroom/concession" areas which are small and no concourse. Then you're suddenly in the arena.
Once inside how is the viewing for basketball?
I'll tell ya we're lucky to have the AMP. It was getting dumpy there but I think they did a good job on the various renovations.... It's an awesome setup with great views from just about everywhere and amazing acoustics when the crowd gets rockin.... Yeah Jeremy Jacob's concessions are a joke and you'll stand in line forever if you dont strategize, but that's about my only complaint..
The only other 2 places I've seen them...Brooklyn was really cool at the Nets arena, sunken below street level. And MSG is just the best for the BET. MSG concourses, concessions and bathrooms seem to handle the crowd so easily too.

I sat in the lower section near the UCONN bench on the baseline and the view was really good from there. Not so sure in the upper section, its steep so you are pretty high looking down, almost like the XL in Hartford but smaller scale.
I feel like the AMP is more of a pro style arena and Gampel is minor league at best.

Friars have 10 games left before BET
Of those 10 8 are Q1/Q2 games
They need to win 6 of them

Assuming you expect PC to win the two that are not Q1/Q2 are you saying PC must go 8-2 ? That would be 13-7 in League and 22-9 overall. That would be an amazing record.
That is more than the minimum needed to make the Tourney. If you are saying win 6 total ( 11-9 and 20-11) I agree that is what is needed to make the Big Dance.
