Yes he doesn’t say it, but that’s the implication
And these bracket guys are all frauds. The committee is not going to only not count this game if we don’t win another road game, that doesn’t even make sense and the committee isn’t hanging on specific details like that.
If we don’t win another road game we aren’t making it anyway so I guess it doesn’t matter, but these guys love these ultra specific but irrelevant bracket details

With six more road games, can we find a way to go at least 2-4 in them? Hopefully win at Georgetown and then at least one from the Villanova/Butler/Xavier road games.
Need to get our mojo back at home too. Need to finish at least 5-1 at home hopefully.
That is our path to 20 wins.

i don't count the depaul game either. We definitely need 1 of those 3 roadies in addition to gtown.

i don't count the depaul game either. We definitely need 1 of those 3 roadies in addition to gtown. The metrics do. We won by 38. Held them to 62, and it was a road win. Obviously a loss to them anywhere would be devastating....but this win definitely counts and matters and helps us get to 20. Which is where i also think we need to be. Win 20 games and finish .500 in this league without Bhop they'll put us in. I think we've also seen recently the BET really doesn't seem to matter unless you win it. Maybe a seed line. But if you're out going into it then winning 2 or 3 games only matters if it's the final. If you're in going into it they don't seem to penalize a 1 and done.

Gtown and (1 of @butler,@ X or @nova as our modt realistic chances) and that means winning most of the home slate. It's a tough task.

14-6, 5-4 BE with 11 games left. I suspect finishing 6-5 (20-11, 11-9 BE) gets us firmly IN. If we went 5-6 the rest of the way, we'd fnish 19-12, 10-10 BE and it comes down to the metrics/NET/Quads etc which might still be enough but we'll be nervous and dependent on BET showing which isn't always taken into account. Further unless we won the BET we would be trying to get an invite with 13 losses. Not impossible but a tough one. I won't like going into selection sunday sweating the bubble as we historically were never given any benefit of the doubt and without Bhop it would probably scream NIT.
Let's hope we can find 6 wins below. I bolded 8 most likely places to get them, and underlined the 2 "gimmes" (which in this league aren't much of a gimme)
@ 1 Uconn
@ Villanova
vs 13 Creighton
@ Butler
vs St. John's
vs DePaul
@ Xavier
@ 9 Marquette
vs Villanova
@ Georgetown
vs 1 UConn

10-10 had minimal shot a few weeks ago but now nova and shu may have made it a possibility. Uconn, Marq, Creighton, SJU and they will need one more BE team. The bubble is going to be dreadful this year. i do think a 10-10 with a gtown loss keeps us out.

I agree that 10-10 while AVOIDING losses to both Georgetown and DePaul is a lean IN but firmly bubble, sweating bullets on selection Sunday while the committee is placing all the ACC schools in Charlotte. If we lose to either DePaul or Georgetown and end up 10-10 we're probably looking at a home NIT game.
