CCA should compensate SHU for additional travel expenses, if any.
Rather shrewd how season ticket holders get compensated only if they re-up for next year.

While dex would argue that the refund deserves it's own thread (and I agree), I have no problem with the refund. While the game was a sad commentary, those in attendance Wednesday evening saw over 67% of a game. To cry for a full refund is selfish. The college still had to pay the Dunk. I think the solution the college came up with was both generous and good for future business. PC needs to be creative with future ticket sales to season ticket buyers. Beginning in 2018, the new tax bill basically eliminates the charitable tax deduction that came with the season ticket license fee. Will that affect season ticket sales next year? Time will tell. www.forbes.com/sites/chrissmith/2017/12/22/gop-tax-law-could-cost-top-college-athletic-departments-millions/#7a6c365aabeaPIZZA, SODA, GRINDERS!!!

Providence College should get at least a partial refund for that date since they weren't supplied with a usable facility.

Understanding the traffic nightmare that would ensure, is there ever going to be a realistic scenario where the school purchases more land around the campus and builds an arena?

As long as their is a reasonable explanation and solution, this should be nothing more than water under the bridge...as long as properly addressed.

Agree
Dunk needs to act in a responsible manner, and identify/report the root cause. Once that's done, a plan for remediation and continuous monitoring needs to be instituted.

Rent is $50 k per game, no concession money, no parking money plus PC pays for security.
Currently no long term contract because Dunk won't fix or upgrade anything.
We have no optional place to play and CCA apparantly don't care.
Providence Bruins draw like 6 or 8 k per game Kmac said different in today’s projo. BcJoe was right with his numbers. The number is closer to 35k not 50K “ PC pays a rental fee of roughly $35,000 to play 18 games a season at the Dunk. . That reads like 35K for the entire season...which is what Gene V. on WPRO went with this morning on his radio show. I would find it hard to believe 35K for all 18 games.

If they do indeed rent the Dunk out for $1945 for a few hours, I believe we should all chip in and have a pick up game.

The Dunk people met early this a.m. and decided to turn the air on then. Air was on all day. Has to be a "covering the ice" problem. PIZZA, SODA, GRINDERS!!! Not saying u are lying Thump but what proof do we have the AC was on all day?? They know they have to say that to cover their arse. I'm willing to bet the AC didn't get turned on into well into the afternoon early evening. And if it did then what does that tell us?? It says we need a new and upgraded cooling system right?? It's not rocket science
