Aside from Alpha and Rodney, we got exactly 3 points(Kalif) from our starters
Kryon's line: 0pts (0-9); 4 turnovers; 2 assists; 1 rebound Jalen's line: 0pts (0-4); 2 rebounds; 2 assists; 1 steal
Incredibly bad "performance" by these two seniors.
And how about 2-17 from 3 (not to mention 11-19 from the free throw line)? Weren't we one of the hot 3-point shooting teams in the country earlier this season?

In trouble now....Saturday is a must win. Judging by the roadies against Creighton, Nova and Hall, and giving the fact that we have won once ever at Marquette, I give us no chance. I agree, good teams win on road and usually hit free throws.....we are NIT bound......If anyone needs a ticket for Nova get at me

IDK about their cardio training Nut but I do know they need to take another look at how they wrap those ankles.

I think we will see more of these games over the last 10 then what we saw in the home win streak... Still have @xavier @butler @marquette Nova at home Seton Hall at home

I got to think Cartwright has the flu. All facets of his game were off. Drew Edwards even outscored him.
Lindsey never got off the bus.
Alpha---keeps getting better on the scoring end. But he has to control the cheap fouls

NIT is not a lock.
We have two league road wins against teams that are a combined 2-18. Take those away and tonight was our narrowest road defeat in the Big East.
Zero confidence we get Marquette. Howard part II on Saturday.

Yikes. That didn't take long. 19-0 run by SHU. All at once we can't hit a shot inside, outside or from the foul line. Missing free throws all year tells u all u need to know about this team. I never played organized ball in my life, play basketball 10x a year and the other day I hit 13 in a a row. Can hit them with my eyes closed. It's always been puzzling why d-1 players and pros can suck at them so bad And you were a D-1 head coach and an assistant coach for 16 years yet never played organized ball in your life? PIZZA, SODA, GRINDERS!!!

I wonder how the Homers here feel about whether or not we passed the eye test tonight?
Although I suppose that if enough of our opponent's stars get sick or injured this week like last year, we have a chance to make The Dance.

Unstoppable if he adds that to his repertoire

Unless Alpha has his heart set on being an Insurance salesman, I would agree with Nut.

But he can put the ball in the basket from 15" in.

We have now lost by 16, 19 and 20 on the road to the three good teams we’ve played in conference. That’s not good obviously, but we could’ve lost by 40 tonight given how lousy KC and Lindsey were. Write this one off and move on to Marquette. One thing we know about Cooley is he gets the most out of his guys when their backs are against the wall. I have little confidence right now that we will be able to slow down Marquette, but this is the type of game where Cooley tends to surprise us. Don’t dwell on this one, we have 9 more to play
