He's playing great. He's really elevated his play on both sides this year. Had a few nice blocks today.

It was nice to see Bullock show some emotion after that great 1 handed down the lane, jam. One of the few times in his career where I have seen that. I know it's not really in his makeup, but it was great to see.
It's been easy to get on Rodney over the years, but the fact of the matter is the kid has had a solid PC career.
I'm going to miss the 2018 Bullock next year.

Think Rodney is at his best when not relied on as the go to guy or leader...surround him with support and he contributes allowing his talents to work without that added pressure.
His stats are pretty solid; issues from his bonehead tendencies in an eye test detract yet he continues to hustle and contribute despite those obvious faults.
Give him credit - he got in trouble yet faced the issue with quiet loyalty. Subsequent injury could have turned him away yet he worked hard and bounced back.
Solid thumbs up for succeeding despite his hurdles and yes, he happens to be a good person as well...

Well said gents...and I might add that he's being asked to play the 5 and also the 4 instead of the 3/4 which he would rather if Young and Holt were in the lineup
Lots of energy expended on defense and boarding which has to effect his offense somewhat.
I salute him

I think when Kyron plays fast, it really helps Bullock, too. Bullock can be lulled into ineffectiveness during a half-court game. But when Kyron is pushing the ball, Rodney's game comes alive.

I think next year, White will be the starting PG come Nov. 15th. He might not be come Jan. 1st, but Cooley leans on experience and it will be White's 3rd year in the program. Either way, White will be in the starting back court. If he's at the 2, I think Diallo slides to the 3 and Holt mans the 4 with Young/Watson at the 5. If he's at the 1, I think Diallo is the opening day 2, with Jackson sliding into the 3 spot.

not loving White as the primary ball handler...what's shamgod doing this summer?
I think it's Mal, White, Diallo, Jax, Holt...but I hate playing this game

I think it's Mal, White, Diallo, Jax, Holt...but I hate playing this game It is hard to believe that next year we will have two top 50 point guards and yet Point Guard will be an area of concern, but it very well may be. We have to trust that MAL will continue to develop and gain confidence and that Duke can come in and be a major contributor from the start. White may also have to contribute as well. It just shows you how big a transition it is to go from elite high school point guard to high major point guard. We will wind up being fine next year and going forward point guard will wind up being a strong point.

I was thinking about this yesterday watching the game but Bullock is actually a more skilled player than Henton was if you take out the intangibles. Yeah I know some may think I'm crazy. Henton had that dog in him and was aggressive but there is nothing that Bullock can't do on the court that Henton did if he wanted to. He has good size, wingspan, a decent handle, post moves and shot. His personality has held him back. It's nice to see him put it together and be consistent this year. He will be missed next year!

Pretty much the exact opposite of Henson. Henton got every ounce of what he had in the tank. bullocks passing is horrendous. His ball handling is worse.
Don't get me wrong, he's been asked to do a ton and had played hard after a poor early start but wed be so much better if he could dribble or pass out of double teams.. Will be interesting to see what jay wright does with us. I suspect he'll wear out Cartwright by picking him up 3/4 court and force bullock to make quick decisions.

He's never been much of a passer but I have no complaints on his handle for being a 6'7 forward who is our best rebounder. His handle seems adequate for his position.
