Ed Cooley -- 'This loss is on me. I think I’ve done a couple things wrong coaching this team – first and foremost is being too nice. I think we’ve coddled our players to a point where now I’m coaching a soft team, and that’s the one thing I hate to be.' #pcbb

Playing a road game against a decent opponent without Holt, Diallo, White or much of a KC, all with the shadow of Jalen Lindsey (defensively brutal), is a long way from last years situation. Seems like depth with injuries isn’t a secret sauce after all. We seem completely confused and rudderless. A season that should have been about NCAA seeding now threatening to be about an NIT invite instead.
We all know however that Ed somehow gets the team to play better in the BE every single year. Just not sure he’s gonna have anyone around here paying attention when he does. Very frustrating to watch.

Have at it boys...this is what happens when you miss on a couple of recruiting classes in a row bec you have 'olympic" and NBA visions of grandeur.
We got lucky with injuries by opponents last year...lightining doesn't strike twice. Play the freaking kids and in the best tradition of the Bosox:
"Wait till next year"
Like I said some time ago, this senior class will be remembered as the most forgettable in Friar history. Oh yeah we have injuries too...no excuse this time!

Funny because this senior class started off looking great, I think? If I'm not mistaken it included Bentil and Chukwu?

That may be a generous description on my part.

After reading tonight, I welcome their departure.

Dunn was great.... Bentil was the difference maker. This team has no great player and it certainly has no difference maker.

We heard this after the Brown stain and some other bad losses during Ed's time here.. Needs to stop..Basic basketball fundamentals seem to be lost during the off-season and then 2 months of the season is spent starting at ground zero. Ed Cooley -- 'This loss is on me. I think I’ve done a couple things wrong coaching this team – first and foremost is being too nice. I think we’ve coddled our players to a point where now I’m coaching a soft team, and that’s the one thing I hate to be.' #pcbb ....gotta love friartown...

Dunn was great.... Bentil was the difference maker. This team has no great player and it certainly has no difference maker. And honestly that team disappointed. Should have had a better tourney seed but Dunn had a 3 week common cold.

How soon we forget where we were before Cooley. Is he perfect ? Are we? Go Friars. Keep the faith. Nearly half of our team is injured or playing hurt. I believe Lindsey is hurt. He does not look comfortable. He cannot jump as high or move laterally y as well as he used to,.

In the Brown game there was a loose ball on the floor and he seemed like his mobility was limited going to get it. He looked a little robotic. He is shooting a high % from 3 but seems to struggle getting around screens to get open looks. His FT percentage is just 50%. I have only sen the games on TV so it is hard to tell how his movement is on defense.

Thump deciding who's allowed to be a fan again......shocker.
I don't see anyone bashing Cooley around here. Head scratcher on not getting Edwards in before Cartwright against brown for me but that's about it. He does get a ton of credit for being a superior talent evaluator which may need to be scaled back. The Jax and jr transfers are mind boggling from my seat.
