Northwestern just secured a spot in the Dance with a Flutie-esque bomb...
And then, there's this...

So X looks like hell. Getting murdered at the half.

Just so you're aware...projected rpi with a WL finish gives us an rpi of 55....not sure how that's a screw job if we miss out.
And Xavier's metrics are alomost impossible to Freak up...root for X.

Haha wrong thread. If X loses this, then 2 more that's 8 straight. I predict they miss the cut if that happens and they should. That's pathetic. They're already slipping in bracket matrix towards the lower at large seeds....I am interested to see how far they fall with each new loss. I have no clue how their RPI is so strong with what could be 6 straight losses. Their RPI has barely budged. RPI perplexes me this yr. more than usual.

Unfortunately we most likely miss if they do although a loss to depaul could get us past them. Historically committee will only adjust the seed line for players not in. Our rpi would be 10 worse and theyd still have a top 10 nonconf sched...

Xavier looks disgusting tonight. This looks like it could be a 30 point loss tonight for them. They have zero movement on offense and can't stop Marquette from shooting the 3.

Dayton beats VCU. The rams are still ok, but another loss could put them in trouble. At the least, they slide back a bit

I don't get why Xavier doesn't go small to counter Marquette's offense. Their 5 man is constantly being targeted and it's leading to open looks all over the court. That or try the 1-3-1, they can't stop Marquette at all

Not changing anything..who knows. Marq picks this up and wake holds on, I think were back on the other side.

Bad night dor us:
Wake beats Louisville, finally giving them a marquee win.
Marquette beats Xavier. The four big east teams have to be very close to one another in the pecking order, and we are arguably fourth in that line.
K State beats TCU. K state was prob a little closer to begin with, have to think TCU is done.
USC blowing out Washington St, looks like they will avoid a bad loss.
Illinois beats Michigan St to stay very much in the mix.
Northwestern beats Michigan.
URI beats St. Joe's.
Georgia stays alive by squeaking past Auburn.
The only two "good" results were VCU and Arkansas losing to better teams. Both are still ahead of us most likely.
I would say we are still in at this point but would probably be in Dayton. Obviously must be St. John's but probably also need to win our quarterfinal game on Thursday.
