I heard the same things friara heard about PC's departure. But I absolutely think he would have been a very good player for us this upcoming season. Frosh to Soph leap is a big one and a kid with this potential, aided by 25 MPG would have been an immense contributor. I'm nearly certain of this.

I think he would have been a great offensive player this year. I was shocked at how advanced he was offensively. I just don't think he was going to get there defensively for another year. Regardless, it was a huge loss.

absolutely correct walk...CD wasn't defending well or rebounding...I mean just a couple of more minutes here and there for The Chooch would not have hurt..and I can tell you that the Staff feels the same way in retrospect
Don't you love when they say "what game/player were you watching?"
"Students father..., really?"
2018 students and a Father as credible sources...seriously, Are You Kidding Me?

Kids on campus usually know a lot more than old men on message boards.
And I will take Rock over Dex any day of the week and twice on Sunday when it comes to this program.

If Chukwu really wanted to get more time on the court he should have done more to learn defensive rotations and the offense PC was running last year. Just sayin'.

Please recall CD had his legs chopped in a game, missed a game as I recall and played the last part of the season in a knee brace.

I'd take Carson and his "sucky" play this year...not even a doubt. After Chukwu left, I figured landing another quality replacement would be challenging...HOWEVER, I thought we might fall into a capable Euro big and am a bit disappointed that didn't happen (I have no specific name...it was merely a theory).

Different question...chukwu had some good first halves that resulted in zero second half minutes...and putting cartons ass on the bench for a few would have made sense.....
I have no idea on the real story behind the transfer but this one makes the most sense.
...I'm not sure we wouldn't take Ray hall on this roster...

I really didn't understand why Chuckwu didn't play more sometimes too. Especially after Cooley came out several times last year and said that he should have played more yet he never played more. He had stretches where he changed some games the Uri and butler game comes to mind. My only guess is that Cooley wasn't content with him not knowing the offense and would rather not shorten the playbook to get him on the floor.

Well somebody is going to have to deal with this guy and his pal Fisher too /photo/1Not many college teams are going to have the size to match up vs. these two bigs, especially the rookie.
