The win is summed up as follow...ladonte has a set....a set that nobody in RI or NE for that matter can comprehend......we saw it at msg....we saw today...you come from Detroit and your balls are bigger....FACT! Think Major League, the movie. M-A-R-B-L-E-S.

Ladontae was great last year but he really showed what he was all about when he hit that shot to clinch the BET. When I saw that I was 100% a fan. Today just reaffirmed he is for real. Buckets. If you just became a fan of this kid in last years BE tournament, you have not been watching games for that long.

Not for nothing but it's called The Dave Gavitt Trophy.

Not for nothing but it's called The Dave Gavitt Trophy. My bad. But do you like my photograph?

That day may have been earlier for you, perhaps the day he set foot on the court? Fantastic, and nice job completely missing my point.

""...But that doesn’t matter, because just as he was in high school and as he was on the recruiting trail, Henton is still overlooked nationally. We’re no less at fault than anyone...."
Been going on for awhile...look how long it took for Cotton to be recognized...our PR dept is woeful

Winning more consistently and making the dance will go a long way as well.

Agreed Dmac...but as wtm will tell you, we have been dealing with mediocrity in that area for a long time.

As an aside, I've been trying to remember any program that used to be relevant to the national stage of bb back in the 60's, 70's and 80's and then fell into mediocrity for a long stretch only to re-emerge recently. Arkansas (up to the '90's) and Houston have fallen, but not yet re-emerged. St. Joe's flashed back, but has re-submerged. I'm thinking that what Cooley is doing here at Providence is on the verge of making history. Any thoughts?

Anyone got a link to the all-time Friar scoring leader-board? Wondering where LaDontae could project forwards.
