Yes that dude came to play today. Completely in the zone. Harris and Derosiers had very good games today as well and Kris Dunn made plays down the stretch when we needed him. Huge win!!!!!!!!!

yeah he was. He made plays when we needed them on both ends of the court. I hope Lindsey is ok.

He came down on a defenders foot after a 3 point shot in the corner. Rolled his ankle and came back with crutches. He'll be good but his status for Kentucky is definitely questionable at the moment.
Was absolutely depressed when Dunn was down. Hopefully he's good he was limping a lot when he was back.

Man, so much to process after this one ... but tonight's performance couldn't have happened to a greater kid. AWESOME win.
The team's definitely earned a few days off; hope everyone gets healthy soon. We need everyone.

I think if Lindsey hadn't gone down he might have continued his hot shooting from yesterday as well.

Ladontae was great last year but he really showed what he was all about when he hit that shot to clinch the BET. When I saw that I was 100% a fan. Today just reaffirmed he is for real. Buckets.

Amazing performance. Big fun witnessing it up close. I was so hoping that it wouldn't end up for the sake of a loss. Amazing game coupled with one of the great individual performances ever.
Hard to say what the cost is with both Lindsey and Dunn. Dunn was out there in the end, performing game-saving feats, but things may be different in the morning.
Looking forward to my son being home for Thanksgiving break and joining me on Friday.

Just back from Mohegan Sun where I sat about 5 rows up behind our second half basket. Was not able to get to yesterdays run off of FSU but today I was prattling nervously all the way down in the car with my PC roommate - "This will be completely different today and I am sensing a 1 point nail biter - maybe even OT"...not kidding either.
Mohegan Sun is, (for me anyway), in the middle of nowhere and we had to walk through this enormous crazed casino to get to the arena - gave my $9 ticket away as someone special handed me a 2; 10 rows behind PC's bench but I never sat there as you could float around and grab seats all over the place. So I found Friar82 and his son under the basket and joined them...
What happened was magical - and sure Lindsey going down was nasty and then Dunn as well but I must say LaDontea Hentonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn's performance that happened right in front of me was one for the ages.
Actually walked back through the huge casino sporting my black PC FRIAR FANATIC shirt whilst crowing loudly "LaDontea Hentonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn"causing my friends to scatter as they probably thought security would be on me quickly but I did not care in the least...
Thoughts?
Harris and CD were solid - Harris played a team game - imagine that?
Thank God we have this YOUNG kid named Cartwright to dribble the ball - kid has verve and nerve is quick and game and does not play like someone who just bid adieu to being 17.
Junior plays very good D and he also passes the ball well keeping the flow moving - think glue guy.
Dunn was foul plagued and sat but he is truly very, very special. At one point in first half (second foul maybe?) one of these uppity refs ran over and got right in his face much like those soccer officials often do? It was way inappropriate - very much so - and then Cooley took Kris out for a long time... Later in second half when he went down the place became silent.
Beyond that bizzarro ref in face thingy, I thought REFS put themselves ahead of the game - not saying calls were against us - just that they interfered way too much...
We were sucked in by Notre Dame to play their game for much of this contest.
Bentil is a major addition and will only get better - quick and fearless. QUESTION?was he on the floor at end of game?
*
But of course this was a performance for the ages by "LaDontea Hentonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn"who was jordanesque in the zone and dominant for 38...

HUGE weekend for our program. BTW glad UMASS won as was pointed out by mikec, we wanted them to win as they have a better chance to be a player in the A10 - more so than FSU in the ACC so better for us when we beat them at home later this season.
Will never forget this one - it was signature and signed by you know who...
And yes Free My son also arrives tomorrow up from Washington DC for Turkey festivities to follow...

The win is summed up as follow...ladonte has a set....a set that nobody in RI or NE for that matter can comprehend......we saw it at msg....we saw today...you come from Detroit and your balls are bigger....FACT!

The ball was small and the basket was big as his eyes were focused - it was his zone and he was the man; do think Notre Dame was a bit stunned by him. It was like give me the ball and I will do this thing.
Happened right in front of me.
You got this one right on mr. walk...
