Barron being out saps my enthusiasm. He was playing so well down the stretch, wanted to see him in a bigger role without Carter How long is he out? Ie, if we beat BC is he back for the weekend? Will be evaluated if they advance to a second game according to KE

Santoro cannot redshirt. He played last week I'm seeing Santoro as having appeared in 10 games which is the max of 30% of the 34-game schedule for redshirt eligibility.

You can’t play games in the second half of the season to redshirt. Trey Woodbury tried last year and his waiver denied. Two seasons ago he came back and only played in conference tournament

I wasn't expecting to get into the NCAAs, but it still took me a couple days to get over it. It's unfortunate how things went down this year, but the silver lining is that we got to watch a hell of a performance from Devin Carter this season.
I'm happy that there was no consideration for Devin Carter to play in the NIT and my initial reaction to pass out of frustration, but it's honorable that the team wants to keep playing and I'm looking forward to getting down to Providence again and having some fun tonight.
Hopefully Pierre can keep rolling and end the year on a proverbial high note. Get some of that hype back...
Dual is definitely talented; hopefully the extra playing time helps him feel like PC is home so he wants to return next season.
Overall, it's a chance for Oduro and Ticket to pass the torch and see who steps up.

Info, an interesting question that gives others minutes to get “tournament” experience and the coaches an opportunity to evaluate new combinations of remaining players to create and defend without relying on the team’s best and most talented player who carried the team to wins during the season.
Josh and Ticket Pierre and Dual and Floyd have all played together and will be able to run an effective offense for the NIT.

I gave up my PC season tickets after 20+ years in 2007, the year Gomes graduated. I watch just about every PC game and attended PC games in Tampa when USF was there. But we will be attending my first PC game since 2007 at the "now" AMP tonight. Hope I can still find the damn place..................

But I did drop my tic after Gomes left so it must have been 2005. Funny but I did get 5 tickets in lower arena tonight which should be better than Sec 230 in the old days.

I sit in 232 and the lower arena is ok but I like my seats in 232. Better vantage point. I sit in 110 sometimes in row EE or FF and the view is great when at that end of the floor but not so great when at the other end.
I'm in 109 tonight.
....gotta love friartown...

All 3 Big East teams lose tonight by 5, 2 and 1 point games.
Butler’s Davis trying to run out the clock is pressured and throws a cross court pass that Minnesota steals a blocked shot then Hawkins is fouled and sinks two free throws for a one point win. With 1.9 seconds remaining Posh Alexander takes a contested last shot off the inbounds pass that was off.
The NCAA committee is getting a reprieve for only selecting 3 Big East teams for the NCAA tournament.

To add insult to injury, if PC won last night and UNLV beat Princeton, PC would have played at Alumni Hall this weekend. That would have been kind of a cool change of atmosphere.
