Carter to NBA DraftSome important ink for Kim English in this piece... "Known as one of the most versatile and impactful defenders in college basketball, Carter made significant offensive improvement in his junior season under newly instated head coach Kim English, becoming a far more prolific and dangerous shooter while shouldering significant shot-creation duties for Providence."

Thank you, Devin, for two wonderful years here at Providence college. In that short period of time you have become one of the top 15-20 greatest players in PC basketball history. I'm sure we, as team fans, will all agree that it has been a wonderful ride. If not for a terrible injury to a teammate, who knows how good a season this would have been. Looking forward to following your professional career in the NBA.

In two years. Devin Carter has become a PC All-Timer.
Going into this season, no one predicted that #22 would be a first round NBA pick in the Spring of 2024. That is a credit to him and the PC staff [led by Coach Kim English].
Wishing Devin nothing but the best as he moves onto the next phase of his life.

I love Dev he is a great Friar. I still do not see him as a sure thing in the NBA, and believe his game does not necessarily translate to the league. he is not a great shooter, and while he is athletic enough for the college game, everyone in the nba is equally or more so. I also think as more and more players declare, and more and more euro's declare, would Dev be pushed out of rd 1?

Hopefully Devin's dad will have enough connections to get a good feel as to where he projects. I think 20-25 but there are still players making decisions as to staying or going so we shall see.

And the NBA guarantees a contract (3 yrs??) For first rounders is that true? Hope he gets a chance.
