Bryce with 45 points helps is Australian team win the Perth Championship...He joined the team when they were in last place just after December. In 2 months leads them to the playoffs and the championship.
Hope he gets a shot somewhere in the league.
Friar basketball site has a link to the game story.

I never get tired reading about Bryce, or LaDonte, or Kriss...
It will be interested in seeing whether any of them continue to use PC as their summer development-home...or might they gravitate to where ever Sham sets up shop (presumably at a location that's convenient for the Dallas players)

I love the smoke that goes off after a 3 ball is made...
They obviously love Bryce in Perth....
How tall was that reporter, he wasn't much taller than her...
One of my most favorite Friar, he's now won 2 championships in his career....
Hope he gets a shot in the NBA

Ridiculous
He owns Australia in general and Perth in particular.
Anything wrong with a million plus plus plus tax free for a 3-5 year deal?
Raise a family in a safe country free of the slime associated with many in the nba doesn't work?
Would you rather he raise his family inplaces like Turkey with bombs going off every day?
Thus far the nba refuses to hire a good guy who can score the basketball at will and would be a decent weapon off the bench
I can remember evil specimens in FriarNation all bent out of shape betting that Douthit, a rather average college center, drafted late 2nd round
would never make the nba and salivating at the thought. Those scumbags were shown that there is more than one way to skin a cat because Marcus
made a zillion bucks in the Phillipines....and if he is still there he's living like King Farouk.

Wow.
The smoke on the 3 is way cool. Love that he got a medal - something different. All of what has already been said suffices- only good things should happen for this fine young man.
What a game he had - perfect from the three and foul line.

Well if his dream is to make the NBA would you deny him that?
Agree, he can be the man in Perth and maybe it makes sense for him to stick there, make big bucks and assuming the wife wants to live down under, raise a family. Of course no one here knows her career plans (think she was in a law program maybe a lawyer by now).
Whatever happens, wish him all the best no matter where his bball career takes him.

Marry an aspiring pro athlete and you best be ready to put your career plans on hold for a while. Either that or be prepared to live together for a few months per year.

take that friarman
and friarman I'm sure your wife has sacrificed both when you were a fledgling long distance runner and now as a bicyclist trying to break into pay for play ranks?
as for Cotton's nba dream? if he still has that itch, sure he should scratch it but considering his new found status in Australia, I would keep that door open bec my hunch is they are ready to pay him
