They really enjoy getting up and down the court but they are prone to taking quick, off-balanced shots. And not surprisingly, they are a different team with Patton on the bench.
I think strong point guard play and crashing the glass will give the Friars a real chance....

Thanks for the input Conn...I watched the first half and took your comments into consideration when I went over to Pickem to enter my picks.
I am feeling very confident indeed. #neverthumper

You're welcome...it's a shame they lost Watson...they were almost a blur with him...

The Hoyas show little spirit and zero mental or physical toughness way too often. It's embarrassing.

Foster played great, but also hit a lot of tough, off balanced contested jumpers. He can definitely get into hero ball mode and I frankly hope he does against us. If he makes those shots and we lose, then what can you do. I am confident that we will play solid defense, but they will still score some points because they are an excellent offense team, even without Watson. We won't be able to go through an extended stretch of offensive ineptitude and frankly we shouldn't because Creighton is only an average at best defensive team. I think we give them a good game and it will ultimately come down to who can knock down shots in the last 5 or 6 minutes.
