The bubble is incredibly weak. We are within striking distance for 6-8 spots that are really up in the air at the moment.
21 is our magic number with 4-0/1-1 or 3-1/2-1. 20 probably has us first 4 out/next 4 out.
Only scenario where I can see 20 wins giving us a shot is if we win the next 3(lose @sju), and finish ahead of Marq/SHU/Gtown which is possible with 9-9. Then we'd have to hope they don't get past the qtr finals at MSG while we beat someone like Butler or Creigh in the qtrs and lose to Nova in the semis. We'd also need things to break our way on the bubble and hope no bids are stolen. Or maybe if we finish 10-8(0-1) as the clear 5th team and hope Marq/SHU/Gtown don't get by the qtrs.

The Xavier/Marquette game guys were touting Marquette with getting in...even mentioned Gtown and what they need to do...no mention of the Friars

Nonconf schedule is killing us imo...
Quick scan of gtown/marq/SHU has sju as the woest loss of the bunch. We have one of those plus 2 Ls over +200s. That is why we are getting less respect and now looking back at magnitude of the loss at shu....

Don't look now but UCONN is coming on...not sure they can play themselves on the bubble currently 14-12 and 9-5 in league play. You never know, reputation can go a long way...or they could win their tourney which is not out of the realm of possibility.

Had to set my parents straight on this very topic an hour ago....zero chance at an at large...they could easily win their tourney.

We are ahead of Gtown and 5th out on bracket matrix.
It's mainly the blown Depaul game and the fact we couldn't take one of the SJ/@shu games that were there for us to take. Even Nova was winnable. Win 2 of those 4 and we are in all brackets right now. The bubble is so bad that our NC schedule wouldn't kill us, and 1 bad loss at BC is managable. Another at Depaul was a killer. Even just change that game to a W and we are in a most brackets right now.

We definitely aren't the only bubble team with a weak NC...and we have a chance to go 5-1 vs the othe BE bubble teams which helps if you wanna compare us to them.
My point is if we win the Depaul game and 1 of the 3 I listed we are in pretty good shape. Regardless of the NC.
