Yank how could you do this to a nice guy and fabulous fan like '94? Getting sleep tonight and tomorrow night will be as hard as the night before Xmas for my Grandkids Then, God forbid, if we should lose to X, that will be 3 nights in a row with limited zzzzzzz's. I hope and pray you are not reported to the KKB (KORE Kontrol Board) for disciplinary action Dex I hate the idea of the kids dream dying. I am just trying to keep his dream alive for another 9 days, until we go out to Creighton and get throttled. Maybe not as bad as they throttled DePaul on the road this past weekend, but throttled. But in all seriousness, 94's initial response in this string was a good one, and accurate.

Yank based on your elegant response, I think you will be OK with the KKB

Game is tomorrow, but here is the latest www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/bubblewatchProvidence [15-11 (5-8), RPI: 71, SOS: 38] Given the state of the bubble, with its distinct lack of strong mid-major at-large candidates, it doesn't hurt to throw Providence on the page after Saturday's win over Butler. The Friars have better RPI-oriented numbers than, say, Texas Tech -- which isn't saying much -- and the losses at BC and DePaul are a drag. But if they knock off Xavier Thursday night, they might be in business.

No way am I drinking that Kool Aid yet...every game on the schedule will be an adventure, as NOTHING is easy for the Friars (especially this year)...

the walk ran the numbers...this only happens if we win out. 1 loss puts our rpi in the 50s under almost any scenario.

I think we win tomorrow and then the bubble goes pop @ Creighton. Then it comes down to the last 3 and The BET for the NIT and we will probably need 3 W's.

Walk, the 50's seems to be the median for bubble teams this year. Some teams are in the 80's. Indiana is 90. Also, 4-1 projects us around 50-55, but you go 1-1 at the BET it's projected under 50. 9-9 gets us 2 of Butler/X/Creighton/Nova with 1-1.
I still have hope. Next two are a chance to make a major move...feel ok about tmrw, and think we will have a real chnace at Creighton coming off a week long break.

Almost impossible for us to get our rpi into the 40s with more than one loss the rest of the way. Sweep the regular season and win round 1 of the BET....that gets us very close...OR just win the BET.

4-1, 1-1 puts us at 53. That ain't doing it based on zero nonconf roadies and our good win would be Butler....Xavier will help the metrics but will be used against us if needed.

I want to have hope but I honestly feel this team isn't tourney worthy anyways. If we were we would not have lost to BC and Depaul. If we don't get in its our fault. We will see what they do tomorrow.

4-1 with 1-1(vs Butler and Nova) projects us at 47. Those projections are a rough estimate anyway.
I still think 9-9 and 1-1 would have us close. Last 4/First 4. I think it depends on which wins we get for it to get us over the hump as one of the last 4 teams in...if we were to win the next 3 along with 1-1 in the BET that projects as 4 top 25 wins(2 away from home), 6 top 50, 12 top 100. 5-1 vs the other BE bubble teams will help too.
With the BET, 21 wins and we are in no doubt about it. 20 has us close...I've been saying this for probably over a month now and its starting to look true. I took a good look at the bubble last night and we are not far off from the last 4 teams in. I actually think this team can do it and it's not crazy.
