Last night could have major consequences.... Yup, with a win over DePaul the Villanova game this weekend wasn't quite as important.

SH is the third best team right now....they are playing real well.
I don't think it has consequences for us other than seeding for the BET. I just think we need to win 4 more. Butler is going to have to get a big win to secure their spot.

Based on their preseason, I think Butler gets in at 9-9 in the BE. They need to win when X comes to Hinkle.
SH needs 10 BE wins, IMHO. I think they will get there.

I haven't looked at the interconf schedules but I believe SHU is done with X and Nova. We do not want to be in a situation where we finish 6th due to tiebreakers.

cannot see that happening. They looked vulnerable last night vs. SJU and also at PC (if we shot even close to normal, we win). They can be caught on an off night but so far they have avoided it for the most part. That said, I'm not overly impressed with Butler at times.

And they still have Butler twice. But I think they have the easier road ahead...and they are just playing better than us.

Sorry, I meant college team normal, not PC normal.

yes draif you so aptly coined the Friars as the new normal of shooting ineptitude.
If Ben is out Saturday, we could challenge our Airball record of 11 set at The Dunk last week before 12,804

Such folks no doubt assumed that they'd be watching a highly competitive game. Hopefully, the Friars have a healthy Bentil and bring their A games
