Not buying Ball sneakers anytime soon...
from Washington Post:

LaVar Ball Has Female AAU Referee Replaced Midgame After He’s Given a Technical 2017-07-28 17:31:17.515 GMT
By Marissa Payne July 28 (Washington Post) -- What overbearing basketball dad LaVar Ball wants is apparently what overbearing basketball dad LaVar Ball gets, or so it seems at the Adidas Summer Championships in Las Vegas. On Friday, while his 15-year-old son LaMelo was playing in the AAU tournament, Ball drew a technical, which made him angry. "We need to get someone else in here," he said, referring to a female official, according to ESPN's Jeff Borzello, who attended the game. When tournament organizers didn't immediately heed his call, Ball then reportedly threatened to pull his team from the game. Organizers had reason to believe he'd do it: The 48-year-old creator of Big Baller Brand pulled his players off the floor Sunday after drawing a technical for shouting obscenities, which led to a forfeit, according to Deadspin. The Adidas organizers eventually decided to replace the referee, telling Borzello "there was a history" between Ball and that particular referee, who also refereed a game LaMelo played in on Wednesday. "Adidas said it was their decision to replace the referee," Borzello reported, adding the female official declined to comment. Even with a new referee brought in, however, the game did not go the Big Baller Brand team's way, largely thanks to Papa Ball, who earned another technical and was ejected. According to spectator reports, however, Ball refused to leave, so the new referee decided to just call the game when the BBB team was losing, 53-43. The winners were Team BBC, which was led by standout point guard Immanuel Quickley, who scored 23 points. LaMelo Ball, who is also considered one of the best high school players in the country, scored 15. After the truncated game, LaVar Ball — of course — had some things to say. "The way you get your name known if you're a referee? Guess what? Check up LaVar," he said (via ESPN). "That's how them rookie coaches are. They try to go through my kids to get at me." Ball continued, saying that giving him technicals won't curb his behavior. "They think, 'We got LaVar controlled,' " he said. "No! I got y'all controlled!" Ball, who's been accused of misogynistic behavior before, also specifically called out the female referee, "a woman," he said snidely, indicating she just must have had something to prove. "I know what she's trying to do," he said. "She's trying to say, 'Oh, I gave him a check, I'm strong!' " "If you're gonna be qualified, you better be in shape and you better know the game," he added, before slipping in his eye-rolling slogan. "She needs to stay in her lane. Coach the little kids first then come up 'cause she ain't good enough." It's unclear how many people tuned in to watch Friday's game, which streamed online, but the Big Baller Brand team has proven a big draw. Wednesday's game, which pitted LaMelo against another high school standout Zion Williamson drew more than 800,000 sets of eyeballs to the live stream, according to SB Nation. The BBB team lost that game as well, 104-92.

The damage done to the country the past 25 years may never fully be repaired.

Another example of the "swamp" in it's full court press to investigate and disparage every move, word and motivation of the Trump Administration - which like any Administration, has its faults. Never, has our government been so polarized and maniacal about tripping up those with differing opinions. There is SO MUCH more that we need our government focused on, than the business dealings of of the "First-Son-In-Law's" family. Where were the investigators, special panels, prosecutors, Attorney General and daily doses of breaking news from giddy members of the media when some of former Secretary of State - Hillary Clinton's (not to mention the associated enrichment of the Clinton Global Initiative's) shenanigans came out? Oh that's right, they're treated as "matters" as opposed to "investigations" A refresher for anyone who's counting: www.washingtonexaminer.com/a-brief-guide-to-clinton-scandals-from-travelgate-to-emailgate/article/2562906Washington is a swamp, and the welfare of us peasants comes second to the interests of the ruling elite.

Great post '82 When the Congress for years has had approval ratings in the teens the people are saying...those bastages have lost touch with the people and would rather keep power which is riches. In other words they knew it was a Swamp or Cesspool but didn't coin the phrase like Trump. People like the clintons are prolific crooks but another good example is Dirty Harry Reid's family who have amassed zillions in the name of "serving" the people. The list goes on and on and on. Speaking of NOKO, the other day amazon's bezos toy WAPO has breaking news about the progress the nut has made with his nuclear development. They didn't mention that Obama knew about it for years which means the fop Kerry knew too. The nut is not going to do anything anytime soon because he has a good life going for him right now. The only problem is if he and the nuts in Iran give it to terrorists...then who do we retaliate against? Ergo there goes the mutually destruction deterrent argument. I won't go into all the crooked side deals OB and the fop made with Iran without disclosing same to Congress. However, like the sale of the uranium reserves to a clinton donor with the end user Putin, what constitutes treason these days? For that matter, given the proliferation of unmasking and leaks by Obama, house-guest Val Jarrett, Samantha "Kerry Look-Alike" Powers, Brennan and Rice; what constitutes a violation of law these day...I mean for the ruling class? If we had a crime fighter like RUDY (let it go Daddy-O) instead of Rip Van Sessions we would have a perp walk every day to federal Court for Dems including BlabberMouth Schultz. The standards of illegality has sure changed since we rightfully asked Nixon to leave the room in 1974. Does anyone remember who was sitting behind Sec of State Colin Powell at the UN when he made the final case for taking our Iraq's Sadaam Hussein which later was dis-avowed by the exquisite phoney Powell??? Class? Anyone? Bueller? Yep it was the now Christ-Like Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller...J. Edgar Comey's pal. Also a special shoutout to Obama for looking the other way on the Opioid Epidemic which killed in excess of 60,000 people last year. Guess the casualties went from zero in 2015 to 60K + in 2016 and he was caught unaware.

It's a rare occasion when we have a POTUS who is rich enough to not care about being re-electable to a second term. A President who wasn't "bought or cultivated" by special interests with deep pockets - like George Soros. A Commander in Chief who is tough enough to call a spade a spade - whether it's calling out his "own" party for not acting after 7-years of "repeal Obamacare" assertions, or the actions and words of a foreign wacko like the Supreme Leader of NOKO.
We don't have a "hip", politically correct, metro-sexual who jogs up to microphones or the door of Air Force One in the WH any longer. Rather, we have an Alpha Male with a cellphone made for tweeting in one holster, and the proverbial "football" with the nuclear code in the other. Trump is speaking loud, while referencing the big stick.
I'm of the opinion that we need to counter more than a decade of "softness" with some "pragmatism and toughness" right now - before any sense of rational-order is knocked permanently off axis.
The fact that the media and the growing masses of snowflakes are offended and have their panties in a bunch isn't a concern of mine. I'm behind the folks in Guam and Hawaii who are looking for caves as shelter (as if that would save them) from a NOKO missle. I'm behind the rising tide of our economy over the last 8-months (believing it will lift ALL boats). I'm pleased that ISIS is being obliterated and that POTUS is open and frank when addressing the MS-13 thugs.
Trump may be rough around the edges, but he's stepping forward while the ruling class in the swamp hide and hurl disparaging retorts. I give the guy credit. He puts up his own $$$ to get elected. He hits the buttons that are important to the forgotten middle class - and then attempts to act on it (much to the dismay of the Swamp, Dark Government, and Shadow Government that Obama's running a few blocks away) while taking daily hits from the Media, Investigators, and Special Panels on matters that are no more severe than the indiscretions of Obama, Hillary and her husband (You know, the "matters" as opposed to the "investigations").
My hope is that the core group around Trump settles into place, and works feverishly to get his messaging (more scripted Press Conferences and less Twittering please, as the election is over) and agenda on track on a sustained basis. That's what the American People (or the "Electorate" for any dissenters out there) voted him in to do.
Sorry to anyone I may be offending.

Nearly all of the headlines and attacks on Trump surround what he says (or tweets) or what the media and democrat party create as a scandal (Russia for example). I follow actions, not distractions. Taken for what he has DONE, not what he has SAID produces an entirely different narrative, one the media spends day and night trying to obscure.

What a great slogan to embrace. I must tell
I must tell Bill Kristol Crystal, Jonah Goldberg and Steve Hayes about it. National Review won't even be around in 2020 thanks to Kristol the MFer

Tony Schwartz, co-author of"Art of the Deal", thinks DJT will resign his office by year end and as early as the Fall. More noise to distract BUT let's say he's right, we get Pense, which is the better half of the ticket anyway. The left would double-down on the fake news and attacks, showing it never was about Trump himself, just a staged ideological revolt, thus securing their demise for a generation. Or so it could go...............

Danny Doyle: someone who has gone away --to the joint-- but did not need to go away. As a wee lad I came across Danny Doyle at Marvel Gym, then an AC at Brown. He was presented to me as an up-coming recruiter who was going to do big things in the game.
As time passed he ended up at uri founding the IOIS (I think that's the acronym), something I wasn't particularly interested in but from little I did read, always felt kind of squeamish about (how was it being run)? It was sort of an organization in search of reason and I guess lots of cash needed to be accounted for that probably wasn't. So it was no surprise to me that things happened: probably just that it took this long? I doubt Doyle is dreadful person. Just kind of an operator, like what was told to me a generation ago. Loose cash tempts people.
I don't think the projo has been helpful in any way with activities that went on at uri during this period. The paper and the Governor seemed blind to certain things at the time. Results were a probation for the Bb program --among other stuff-- and corrupt accounting for an organization that had --I guess-- something to do with the school and its property. Almond wanted uri promoted --with the help of the projo-- at all costs. I don't need to be lectured by their editorial page. I didn't think Doyle was a crook but like I said, I never bought into this scam. They did.
Doyle apparently should have taken the deal he was offered. He can appeal but it seems to be a postponing of the inevitable.
