Kids who ascribe to socialism (a gateway to communism in my mind) lack a point of reference, and a lack of appreciation for all that democracy (and capitalism) affords our society

It is with regret that I pass along my wife's report that Rhode Island's own - Sean Spicer was voted off Dancing with the Stars this evening. I suggest that an investigation be opened up on the grounds that the judges were clearly biased, and wanted him off the air. STAY, Sean!

R.I. state worker charged with solicitation of a child By Mark Reynolds Journal Staff Writer
Lopes
An employee of the Rhode Island Department of Human Services has been charged with two counts of indecent solicitation of a child and one count of electronically disseminating indecent material to a minor, authorities said Tuesday.
Dennis J. Lopes, 64, of 21 Jackson Flat Rd., Scituate, is accused of sending “indecent sexual material” to a person he believed was 14 years old, according to a news release from Rhode Island State Police.
Lopes was arrested Friday after the Internet

Children
Task Force identified him when he arrived to meet the purported juvenile in Warwick, the state police say.
Lopes is a senior resource specialist in the Individual Family Support Services section of DHS, says the release.
He was arraigned Friday and released on personal recognizance. He is scheduled to appear Dec. 3 in District Court, Warwick, for a bail review.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Administration, Brenna McCabe, said Lopes was placed on administrative leave as soon as DHS learned about his arrest.
As part of the resource specialist position, which pays $60,364 a year, Lopes went to people's homes to inspect weatherization work, McCabe said. Under DHS requirements, she said, either a homeowner or resident older than 18 must be present in the home at the time of such inspections, which can take place as work progresses and when it is complete.

VETERANS VOICE Marines’ Toys for Tots program has helped 258 million children ... and counting PROVIDENCE
Mary K. Talbot
In the 1980s, Cpl. Joseph Green, of Norwood, Massachusetts, spent four years as a U.S. Marine, accompanying President Ronald Reagan on Marine One, the commander in chief’s helicopter. His years in the service included travel to many places, bringing him face to face with dignitaries on a regular basis.
Some 30 years later, he’s working in the unheated bowels of the Cranston Street Armory, in a sweatshirt and work gloves, alongside minimum-security inmates from the Adult Correctional Institutions. Green’s boss today isn’t the commander in chief — it’s Jessica Berkhoudt, an unassuming new mom and a captain with the Salvation Army of Providence.
Green couldn’t be happier. He has volunteered to be here. In fact, it’s the second year that he has driven more than 30 miles each way from his home to offer his time to Toys for Tots in Providence.
Why does he enlist for this physically and emotionally draining volunteer job? It’s because this is the Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign, and because of the people who benefit from his work.
“I have always liked helping people,” Green explains. “That’s why I joined the military.”
Last year, Green volunteered for two days during the holidays.
“I sat down with families — they’d have to come in and fill out all the paperwork, bring birth certificates, proof of address. And I’d fill out all the forms, so I got to meet all of the families [who benefit] and talk to them a little bit.
“Jessica gave me the responsibility of giving out all the bikes … that’s a lot of pressure to put on me,” he said — a statement that’s pretty ironic coming from someone who used to fly on Marine One with the president of the United States.
Toys for Tots is a 72-year-old nonprofit organization run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. The program is designed to provide happiness to disadvantaged children during each Christmas holiday season. By collecting and distributing new toys, books and other gifts, the Marines hope to instill recognition, confidence and a positive memory for children in need.
According to a press release, last year the Marine Toys for Tots program fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 7 million less-fortunate children in over 800 communities nationwide. Here in greater Providence, more than 96,000 toys were distributed to 9,452 children last year. Since 1947, Toys for Tots has helped over 258 million children across the country.
Green, along with 435 other volunteers, takes his job helping those in need seriously.
“If you see what the people have to go through, you’d really understand how much you’re really doing,” he said. “That’s why I came back this year. I even came back early [in the season].”
Before he gets back to work, retired Cpl. Joseph Green says there’s something he would like people to know.
“If you’re always thinking in your mind that when you put money in someone’s cup, is it really doing something? It really does,” he said.
“Please don’t stop. A lot of people really are struggling.”
Donations are being collected this month by individuals, businesses and charitable organizations throughout Greater Providence, including Cardi’s Furniture.

And here, I never knew of the guy until yesterday, when I learned that he put the "woke" Hollywood hypocrites in their place during his opening monologue. Bravo!

Some of you may remember the stabbing death of Cabral outside a club on the "new" Federal Hill. The video I had posted showed 8 MFer animals beating the man and then stabbing him in the parking lot. Great Job By The Providence Police, the DA and the Grand Jury. They all don't end this well when the animals choose to go to trial and, even if convicted, may get a lenient liberal Pr!ck for a Judge.

They start them young on the West Side of Providence. The poor victim, unlike the Cabral Family, has no one to fight for justice in this murder.

PROVIDENCE — Four teens were arrested this week in the fatal beating of a homeless man in the Dexter Training Ground over the summer, police said.
The four juveniles, all from Providence, are accused of manslaughter and conspiracy in the death of Manuel Delacruz, 50.
Police said the teens assaulted Delacruz in the training ground before 7 p.m. on July 23. Delacruz was responsive when police arrived, telling officers that he’d been assaulted by a group of juvenile males, but wasn’t going to pursue a complaint, instead seeking medical care. Police noticed injuries to his face when they responded.
Delacruz was taken to Rhode Island Hospital. On Aug. 3, Delacruz died there from his injuries, police said.
On Jan. 5, the medical examiner’s report came back ruling his death a homicide, Maj. David Lapatin of the Providence Police Department said. Warrants were drawn up for the four juveniles, and they were taken into custody on Wednesday, Lapatin said. Two of them turned themselves in.
The teens’ identities aren’t being released because of their juvenile status. They have been brought before a Family Court judge and released on home confinement with electronic monitoring, Lapatin said.
The motive for the beating is still unclear, but there were many witnesses in the park at the time, police said.
The arrests came after a lengthy investigation involving the police’s Youth Service Bureau and detectives, Lapatin said.

While Dex frequently decries the ineptitudes of Gina Romundo, I think I've got him beat where it comes to public servants. Hailing from NYS, I am a member of a citizenry that is "represented" by the likes of Chuck Schumer, OAC, and Jerry Nadler on a national level, not to mention, Bill deBlasio and an unbridled State Legislature with its accomplice - Governor Andrew Cuomo (Fredo's brother),who's known to proclaim "This is not who we are!" when defending the virtues of his progressive agenda, which has introduced dangerous - Bail Reforms and more recently, a law that blocks ICE and Boarder Patrols (along Canadian Boarder) not to mention Local Police Departments which cooperate with ICE from accessing DMV information in advance of approaching any car they've just pulled over. Can you imagine that? Click the links and read the articles, and then tell me just WHO these bozos looking to protect! www.foxnews.com/media/nicole-malliotakis-new-york-bail-laws-cuomo-de-blasiowww.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2019/12/new-york-state-blocks-ice-and-border-patrol-access-michael-cutler/
