Including a new one. PC has been linked with at least two big men who’d be eligible immediately as transfers. They include Chris Olivier of Eastern Illinois and Alonzo Nelson-Ododa, a shot-blocking 6-9 center who is graduating from Richmond. The Friars may also try to get involved with a top foreign player, namely Greek center Georgios Papagiannis. He played last year for a high school in Pennsylvania before returning to Greece this past season to compete with a professional team but the 7-1 big man still has his amateur status and needs additional seasoning before aiming for the NBA. www.providencejournal.com/article/20150519/SPORTS/150519215/SHARED/st_refDomain=t.co&st_refQuery=/ym5o90RtYHPapagiannis vids... www.nbadraft.net/players/georgios-papagiannisLooks pretty skilled inside and out.

From the Projo Article re: Owens as quoted by his AAU coach: “He’s excited about Providence. He needs a change of scenery so he can focus on what’s important in his life.”
Amazing. One guy leaves Providence for a change of scenery, while another one comes here for the very same reason.
