I will be surprised if Herb Sendek survives after the NIT is over.

No idea what Simon is making at PC but one would have to assume Fairfield would have to basically triple his salary to accept such a challenge in exchange for the comfort/success/stability he has found in the Big East.
Also must really suck going from playing on National TV every game in front of 10-20K fans to playing in front of 1,500 people......IDK would for me anyway

I think Simon's primary residence is in the Fairfield area.

Tommy Amaker was the coach when they had the real good recruiting class (which never really panned out.) Orr had some good years at the Hall but burned a lot of bridges there and made some folks (alumni & administration) uncomfortable with his constant preaching on his religious beliefs.

Did Tyson Wheeler survive? Yes, he was not one of the two guys let go.

Johnson signed an extension through 2019...Same length as Anthony Grant at Alabama. One big difference is revenue...Bama can eat that contract buyout. Johnson get one more season...
Simon should get a look at Fordham.

Darnit...was hoping Brian Blaney or FiFi would get a look Dex: Does that mean you are lobbying for Sham to get a spot? Because my gut says Al Skinner may be the first choice to jump over to Ed's staff.

BTW- don't forget Battle down there at Wake Forest.

Yes '71 and Cooley has said in so many words publicly that Sham would get a slot...not saying which slot because Jackson could move up if indeed he doesn't go elsewhere.
So Info... Battle is still with wake forest working for Manning, eh...Lost track of him
All conjecture for now however

Simon would have quite a challenge at building Fordham's program.
Simon has to follow in the large shadows of such basketball luminaries as:
Ed Kelleher Johnny Bach Hal Wissel Digger Phelps Tom Penders Paul Hewitt Dereck Whittenburg Bob Hill
