The latest numbers are out for this year. How can we as RIers continue to ignore these numbers?

Ignore them?
I would think that that # will pretty much put Linc out of a job...especially if Gina Raimondo runs.

Seeing that he only won 37% of the vote the first time around, I have a feeling this time is going to be significantly worse. Although I am slightly impressed that he is doing the right thing tackling some of these union pension issues.

There are reasons people like me move from the state.I miss a lot of things from RI and can visit readily, but such things as taxes, roads, plowing snow and the like can drive you to drink-wait-I did that anyway!

Sad but true......RI has done this to itself but the people are so steeped in this "union" mentality that I don't think they can do the things they need to do to change course.

Although I am slightly impressed that he is doing the right thing tackling some of these union pension issues. He kind of rode Raimondo's coattails on that one and they did little to cure the munical problems....he should be commended but he wasn't exactly leading. I understand what he is trying to do but it won't work. He has alienated the union vote and that was his main support. Regardless, union support in this state is so concentrated that the same cast is constantly voted into assembly positions.

Actually I post on more than one OT board. Care to comment on the topic at hand?
