This is my current thinking Pierre, Transfer Transfer, Fernandez, Floyd Transfer, Barron, Mela Hop, Transfer Transfer, Oswin, Bonke I agree in theory but 5 quality transfers is a stretch. I'd be thrilled with three.

I agree that 5 quality transfers is a stretch, we are going to have to do some bargain shopping
And I understand the desire to upgrade from Pierre but it’s probably in everyone’s best interest to run it back. We invested this whole year in Pierre, he had a few bad games, a few good games, but mostly he was fine. In the transfer portal pecking order, is he ahead of the guys who average 15ppg in the Horizon League?

Al was a rare guy. Love him. I would love to see them grab a 5th year player grad transfer.

This is my current thinking Pierre, Transfer Transfer, Fernandez, Floyd Transfer, Barron, Mela Hop, Transfer Transfer, Oswin, Bonke It has to be this, but I would hope the transfer can beat out Pierre or at least be a hell of a lot better than Dual was this year. I would add that I hope Fernandez is a player and can contribute right away next year. He was supposedly a 4 star and ranked in Top 70 but he missed a whole year.

Justyn Fernandez was not in the top 70. He was around 120. Basically similar to pierre and castro. he's a complete unkown (but i admittedly forgot about him when putting my roster rankings together.
Pierre was one of the 3 worst PGs in the league. I want him to be good and was hoping like hell he'd step up the other night but that was eye opening.

Dion Brown - buyer beware if grabbing the leading scorer from a team with a shitty record in a shitty conference. Not saying it can't work but...

I have a thing for keeping every player who wants to stay.
Asked Eli to jump early and redshirt, so he did. Now kick him to the curb? Asked Santoro to come and redshirt then kick him off too? 'Play Pierre to stay' then say gonna supplant him after one season of playing real minutes while shooting 38% from 3, 78% FT (2.2 TO listed as stat but probably more than that in reality I'll give), but? Floyd gives his all all game every game, but his shooting sucked. He can work on aggression and scoring at the rim with shooting, and be amazing to watch if he figures that out. Dual too, along with gaining control of his still growing long body. Castro can do things few others can with his height, length, athleticism. He too needs to gain more control if it.
I don't see why I wouldn't expect every one of those guys to come back better players next year, and I'd like to see them do that at PC as long as they want to.

"Attended Monacan High School for three years and then attended Virginia Episcopal before enrolling at the IMG Academy in the Fall of 2021…Averaged 16.6 ppg as a sophomore and 17.0 ppg in 2020-21…Was a consensus 4-star recruit…Ranked No. 70 in Class of 2022 by ESPN.com and No. 80 in 247 Sports composite." He was ranked 70 and 80 in ESPN and 247. But he also had a pretty bad injury which kept him out this year.

I have a thing for keeping every player who wants to stay. I hate to be harsh, but this is equivalent to saying you have a thing for losing. In the modern era, this just isn't a winning strategy. It's fine if you want that, but make peace with drifting towards 11th.

ter. Yes the Penn/Ivy is weak but you look at things and make your move. The Ivy player of the Year (from Princeton) who went to UMich av. about 3ppg there. Brown is interesting in that he comes from rural Ma. May be too scoring oriented IDK if he's much of a playmaker?

Don’t remember if it was knee or Achilles You can look at every league and pick the transfers that worked versus the ones that bust Langborg (Princeton to NW), Dingle (Penn to SJ), Cambridge (Brown to Nevada/ASU) all worked out recently
