Do guys that are going to the NBA usually play in the NIT? Or is it like the college football bowl games, where they just skip them and get ready for the draft. Asking for a friend.

Yankee, do you see Friars getting past their likely first round opponent (Seton Hall?)? Hard for me to see them advancing for a slim hope of getting an NCAA bid. Too many Big East teams ahead of them as of now. …. Just saw we are now scheduled to play DePaul in the Big East Tournament. I guess the matchup is still TBD

I classify Armstrong as a below average BIg East PG, but he was better than our guys today. Far better. And Richmond is certainly way better.

Thanks Yank. Yes, I was particularly alarmed with the turnover when Villanova pressed and pg turned the ball over.
PGs unable to get ball inside to Oduro much of the game. Credit Villanova defense as well.

So who do we keep and who do we brizz/ allow to portal?
Evidently it’s Oswin and Bonke at center. PG?

I tend to adopt the players we have and support them. I have a hard time buzzing anyone. I tend to see the positives in our players than their areas of weakness.
I imagine Garway Dual will opt for the portal. I would rather him stay and see him progress to another level. I imagine Cory Floyd, Jr. and Jayden Pierre will remain if not asked to “opt” to transfer.
But Coach English was hired to win. The school and its supportive fans expect results that call for difficult decisions. Likely Coach English will gain and lose players in the transfer portal seeking stronger guard play.
