As a former season ticket holder my oservations of FriarMan Ed are that wore his fandom on his sleeve, lead the fans with his J-E-T-S cheer, but I had to feel for him during the Pats game as he sat there stunned and taking fan abuse for wearing a Sanchez jersey.
Better to end his schtick than get into a punchout with enebriated younger men.
FireMan Ed has refused to sign autographs when approached by younger adult fans at Jets training camp sessions in NJ. As one young adult fan described him to me - "He's a bit of a d*@k".
