Is Indiana St safely in? This tells me they should be out. Safely in, no. Should they be in, definitely.

Spoken like a true Indianian. Probably out. No wins outside of conference. One "quality" road win at Bradley.

They are one of if not the best shooting team in the country. They are better than Providence, that’s for sure. So if you think Providence is remotely close to being a tournament team, then Indiana State is a shoo in.

I was born and raised in Rhode Island and been a loyal Friar fan for 60 years and that will never change. I was just telling it like it is.

as one who hates it when people just assume teams from outside the P6 are any good, whether or not they are better than providence is irrelevant. the question is do they have a better resume. tough argument for them losing by double digits to mich st and bama and 23 games in the Q3/4 range.

Sorry if I offended you. Not my intent. Nor was it my intent to hack the english language.
My opinion is the same, probably out because they have no wins outside of conference. One "quality" road win at Bradley. Am I wrong about their lack of quality wins and road wins? They only played 7 top 100 teams, and they were 1-4 against the top 50. Another reason I think they are out is that their season is over, they can't improve. Other teams can by winning games against quality opponents.
I hope they get in, I would rather see ISU than any middling power conference team (except the Friars).

You think I just assume they are good? I’ve watched them play numerous times. They have 5 players who average double figures scoring. As I said earlier they are one of the best shooting teams in the country. Unlike us, who after our top 2 players you have no idea on any given night what you will get from the rest of the team, they are very consistent pretty much every game. You guys have always been big NET guys, most of you anyway, and the Sycamores are 29 now and been in the top 30 all season(in the top 20 at some points). I’m not saying they deserved to be that high because the NET is a joke, but they are there.

not you specifically but people just assume the mid major teams would get killed in the BE or other P6 conferences. Someone might want to let houston know. I am not a net guy but i do think they are very good but don't have a good enough resume to get in the tourney. I'd think differently if they did better in one of their 2 p6 games. can they not get any of IU/ND/Butler/Purdue to schedule them?

Houston to me is not a mid=major team with some of its history. They could be like UCONN that was fair to middling in a mid-major conference and now will only get better recruits being a P6 conference.
....gotta love friartown...

And Richmond and Loyola in the a-10. That means league get two DAyton and likely VCU (if they win it). League loses 1-3 in semi's doesn't look good.

Indiana State coach Josh Schertz has been named a semi finalist for the 2024 Werner Ladder Naismith Men’s Coach of the Year. The list includes Dan Hurley, Matt Painter and Kelvin Sampson. Ed Cooley won this award 2 years ago. Good luck to Josh.

Watching this Florida team. That has to be the type of roster Kim wants to build. Size and shooters.
