Legal fees and court costs add up. He pays a big price that being in "the system" gets from you indicted or not.

Awful turn of events for the kid to have to go through.
Wish him the best after this fiasco cost him finishing his career at PC.
....gotta love friartown...

Thanks, Weyinmi.
Disappointed that Breed won't be finishing out his college career at PC. Hopefully, the kid can pick up the pieces and put this behind him now that the charges have been dismissed.

I was never a huge fan of Breed's game, but liked his leadership and influence on the roster. he would have been a good hand on this seasons young team. was dealt a bum hand.

Breed was the consummate back-up in TFG's system.
The kid was willing to be coached hard, a good foul shooter, decent defender, and accepted his role within the grind-it-out system when on the court.

William J. Lynch, Breed’s lawyer, long argued the charges were without merit. He suggested, before the case went to a grand jury in July, that the prosecution was malicious and perhaps even racially motivated.
“If this wasn’t a Black athlete at Providence College, this case wouldn’t be seeing the light of day,” Lynch said previously. He had faulted the state for delaying so long to put the allegations before a grand jury, essentially dashing Breed’s chances to land at another school. Lynch said Wednesday that though the dismissal came as good news, the “timing was unfortunate.” Breed had many schools interested in him that were hesitant to bring him onboard with criminal charges hanging.
“Alyn and his family are obviously relieved. This was terrible for them to go through,” Lynch said.
“He loved Providence and wanted to finish out his college career as a Friar. This prevented that,” Lynch continued.

For a moment, I almost thought I saw him sitting behind the Friars' bench last night; this via TV coverage. It seems he hasn't landed anywhere as of yet.

I'm surprised he hasn't landed somewhere. Providence could use him at this point.
