Another Bishop McNamara/Team Takeover connection. But I looked up her offers and only GTown came this year. GW, PC and Temple all offered in 2023. PrepGirlsHoops does rank her as #5 in Maryland amongst 2025's.

Indeed, 6'2" Olivia Breen is a 2029 and hasn't even entered the 8th grade yet!! She is the younger sister of 6'2" Bailey Breen who is a 2025 that also holds an offer from the Friars, along with 21 other schools. Olivia also holds an offer from Boston College.

New Offer: Sammie Sullivan 5'10" SG from Londonderry, NH Like many of our 2026 offers, I am not overly impressed at this point since her only other offers were Stonehill and Northeastern. You might be less negative after reading this: www.unionleader.com/sports/high_school/definitely-one-of-a-kind-londonderry-sophomore-sullivan-is-getting-noticed/article_c453c200-6234-5275-88c7-a2ec27f27fec.htmlNew Hampshire doesn't get a lot of attention, even for good players. Some NBAers have come out of here. Not much seems difficult for Sullivan on the basketball court. She appears equally comfortable on the perimeter as she does scoring (or defending) down low. Although she’s listed as a shooting guard, Sullivan typically guards the tallest girl on the other team because she’s 5-foot-10. “She does everything I ask her to,” Londonderry girls basketball coach Jon Doherty said. “If I asked her to run the point, she’d run the point. She covers the biggest kid on the other team, but she can also lock up a guard if she has to. Traditionally, I’d say she’s a two/three spot. “I’ve never really coached anyone like her who just has such poise when she plays for someone so young. I would say she’s top five in the state. You can talk to any other coach and they’ll tell you she’s special. She does a little bit of everything.” Doherty thought he might have an exceptional talent in the pipeline when he watched Sullivan play in middle school, and he wasn’t wrong. She averaged 16.1 points per game in 19 NHIAA contests last season, when Londonderry advanced to the Division I quarterfinals before falling short against Portsmouth. The University of New Hampshire offered her a full scholarship following her freshman season. “I know Northeastern is really high on her,” Doherty said. “BC. She’s getting attention locally from a lot of these schools.” Sullivan said although she’s been playing basketball for as long as she can remember, she didn’t begin to feel confident in her ability until her middle school years. “I like shooting the 3,” Sullivan explained when she was asked to provide a scouting report on herself. “I’d say I’m a pretty good shooter. I like taking the drive. Probably the area I need to work on is my mid-range (pull-up jump shots). Doherty said he thinks Sullivan will have a chance to break every basketball school record because he expects her to remain at Londonderry for four years instead of leaving early for prep school, a move that may become more popular now that the NCAA transfer portal has reduced options for those coming out of high school/prep school. “Honestly I haven’t thought about it (prep school),” Sullivan said. “When I came in as a freshman, Jon was the coach and we started off with a really good connection. From there, everything fit, so happy where I’m at.” According to Doherty, Sullivan could have started at the varsity level as an eighth-grader. “I went and saw her play in middle school,” he said. “She was in eighth grade and I watched her absolutely torch a middle school team — I think she had 30 points in the first half. I was like, ‘Yup, this kid’s legit.’ “She’s a great kid and a strong student academically. She’s definitely one of a kind.”

I am beginning to get a bit more vocal here. Molly Sisson just picked up an offer from Bryant. Couple that with her existing offers from Sacred Heart, North Florida, Rider, Manhattan, UMBC, Marist, Siena and what am I supposed to think? Is she really a BE caliber recruit? I am developing a ranking system which tracks players and the schools which have offered. I give 1-pt to low major offers, 2-pts for a mid-major offer and 3-pts for high majors. Miss Sisson scores a 1.0 according to that scale. It is true that I haven't seen the players in action whereas Batth & Co. have, but I have no other means to do so. Using the same scale, 2025 recruit Ashley Dinges scored a 2.5 That's the type of recruit we need. New Offer: Molly Sisson a 6'3 PF 2026 who plays at nearby St. Andrews.

I hope you take this the right way. I appreciate you keeping us updated BUT most of your comments are on "offers". You are not "offering" but PC and Coach Batth are. And I do believe that an experienced player/coach such as Coach Batth is a much better judge of abilities than someone looking at offers from other schools as the sole criteria for a player's worth. Erin might see potential that lesser coaches might not. Maybe Erin works a bit harder. Maybe Erin can envision how a player offered might fit on her team.
I suggest you trust in her more than who is looking at whom. That's what we hired her for.

I also suggest focusing your scale on 25s only. 26s are just breaking out and have a lot of time to develop. This girl is 6-3 and plays varied roles as she can dominate games with her size. Many mid and low major teams try to make an impression early on, hoping they'll be selected. PC did this often to find a diamond in the rough. Some of our offers paid off, but many didn't.

Dear thumper and mvfriar, Thank you for your reasoned responses. First of all, there are many Molly Sisson types on the current 2026 offer list, so I am in no way dissing her. Perhaps she is the diamond-in-the rough, and as they always say, you can't teach size. If so, getting in early would be a good thing. But on the other hand, programs can't live on finding diamonds-in-the-rough, because you will need to find five of those diamonds in order to compete at the top which is not at all likely. Here's what I am looking for... (from Aug 1st) Daija Preston who is one of the top guards in Georgia for the 2025 class has named her Top 8 schools. - St. John’s (3) - Seton Hall (3) - VCU (2) - Tulane (2) - Hampton (1) - William & Mary(1) - Providence (not counted). - New Orleans (1) Remember, 3-pts to HMs, 2-pts for MM's and (1-pt for LM's and I have included them in parentheses above). So, Miss Preston's total is 13pts dived by 7 = 1.86, which puts her towards the floor I had in mind. As an aside, this is why I was excited by the Asley Dinges commitment. She scored 2.5pts on my amateur scale.
Later, I will publish my whole PC 2026 list with their respective offer rank totals.
Two final points for now: 1) mvfriar's point about 2026's still being in their development stage is 100% valid. So, yes there is a flaw in my system, but it's all an armchair guy like me has to go on. When we get to next spring I may very well flush all my current offer rank totals and start anew. We'll see on that. 2) Miss Preston's release of her Top 8 on Aug 1st and her including PC is a suggestion that Batth & Co will take another 2025 before the November signing period. Because we gained 5 commitments in early July so rapidly, I had begun to wonder if we were done till the spring.

Coach Batth has really sparked my interest in the women's team. This year's team may still be in the lower half, but things are looking up for the future. Where do you find the list of offers on the recruits?

It seems as if we have X number of openings. Offering doesn't mean what it used to mean. So for 4 openings we might make 20-25 offers or more.
Coaches have to cast a wide net of offers in order to get the players they need.
Offers do not mean commitments from the player or the school. Offers just put you on the radar for that player. Lots of things change on the recruiting trail.
Erin is casting a wide net.
